I need to post some reviews in the dedicated thread at some point, but too lazy for that
So some thoughts in there I guess?
Robocop Rogue City is a great game, I like Robocop, but expected nothing out of it and it was genuinely cool, and perfectly in line with the first movie. Looks amazing despite the performance issues, really fun skill tree that makes it weirdly compelling as an RPG (even if getting the Xp is pretty boring when it's picking up random crap), a lot of good side quests... and a lot of boring ones too, but the main story holds up, the shooting is basic and fun (especially near the end when you are really strong - again, strangely good RPG systems), and it's not too long... if you don't do everything maybe, because side content is nice but movement speed is pretty agonizing in a lot of sequences.
Started Octopath Traveler 2, and I like it a lot more than the first one. It wasn't bad, but was nothing but cut scene in town > corridor dungeon > closing cut scene, repeat 64 times.
This one massively improves the pacing, there are sequences with no dungeon, sometimes not even combat, the world is much better designed and much less linear with levels as gatekeeping; you're much more free in where you can go, plus there's tons of good side content like optional dungeons and relevant things to find all around.
Now the side quests are still really shit (if better organized in the journal so you're not always lost with no way to know what to do), and not all characters are interesting.
But at least they do have unique EX skills for their mandatory base class, and a unique talent that is a bit like a Limit that you can use very often, so they feel a lot less like copy/paste. A good chunk of balance happened too, like the Huntress being able to capture monsters a lot easier and the fact that almost all are not one time use but become another extra skill instead.
