Everyone is onto Dragon Age today, meanwhile Farmagia is quietly releasing in a few hours. I was hoping that it is going to be another surprising gem like Harvestella back in 2022.

Only three reviews on Opencritic so far. Seems to be a charming and fun shonen adventure game with simple but unique mechanics. Not getting it today because I am short on funds, but this seems a pretty cool game to pick up in the future.

So I'm trying to re-order my Steam wishlist (I've really only recently noticed the ranking feature and it seems useful to me) and I've also discovered that most of the games I have on there had a playable demo on Steam at some point - how do I know? - SteamDB. Just search for <Game Title> Demo and if you're an indie-fan like me, more often than not you'll get a result right at the bottom of the results - and every result on SteamDB includes a clickable Steam-link for instant install.

And of course, most of the time if you click that, Steam launches and pops up an "No licenses available" error, because the demo has been pulled.

Gotta be honest, I've really had it with the time-limited demo availability BS. What better way to rank your wishlist than by playing a demo? I really miss Xbox Live Arcade and its wanna-be-on-the-store-front?-keep-the-demo-running policy.

Is there a site / torrent aggregator / filesharing community etc. that archives playable demos from Steam (with Steamworks DRM removed if necessary)?

In my experience a lot of the time you can still play Next Fest demos after they've been pulled if you just run the executable directly instead of trying to launch from Steam, so very often archiving demos really wouldn't be much more effort than making a zipfile and uploading it somewhere.

The new Vampire Survivors DLC is amazing, so many characters and weapons to unlock. The map is enormous and it seems to have some secrets to be discovered.
I hit the credits screen for this DLC and there is a lot of content to go through the whole ending was a pretty cool set piece and pretty hype. It looks like there are a lot of secrets as well so it's going to take a while to complete. Well worth the money and honestly I think they could have charged double or triple the price and I would still be happy.

Spent most of the last few days playing Dragon Age: The Veilguard on Steam Deck and also PS5. Some impressions here since I think the default settings it ships with are pretty bad. Very good PC port though IMO.

I also read the thread rules and it says no J-Rock / POP but doesn't specify no J-POP. Enjoy:

When I started playing it for a short review and realized how big it actually was, I wanted to savor it and not rush through it. Insane value. They really spoiled us with prior DLC, but this is absolutely crazy good value.

Edit: This feature where the forum automatically merges a new reply you do with your prior post is very nice.

From what I remember reading in some review, there are only few dialogue scenes with him, some of which are very brief :/
So, I can't speak about the entire game yet, I'm just in the third "chapter", or part, and Solas is getting quite a lot of screentime. The chats with him are few, but we also see a lot of his past, his memories during his war against the Evanuris (the ancient Elven gods).

I too have been enjoying Vamp Survivors with the launch of Castlevania DLC. It runs really well on deck, so i can play anywhere which has been a big help since i've been sick.

Make me really nostalgic for the metroidvania style Castlevania games. We still need Symphony of the Night on PC!! C'mon Konami...

Also thanks for the thread lashypoo.

I miss the days when people played a game and when there was something they didn't like, they just moved on with their lives and not go on Twitter to scream DEI, WOKE etc.

Allow devs to make the games they wanna make.

Get well soon and yes the new DLC is amazing. I hope they sell the OST for the DLC soon.
