5070 Ti is pretty much just 4080 V3 overall.
The only good thing was going to be the price, except not enough gpus were made for launch and early prices are gonna be $1000+, so even the price is 4080 V3.
Trump voters don't know the concept of shameI know this is off-topic here, but I'd be deeply ashamed if I had vote for Trump after what he wrote and said today. He's literally on Putins side now. What a sad, sad day for democracy and justice this is...![]()

this is an old picture but ever since I first saw it when it was new 7 years ago it comes to mind whenever this topic comes upTrump voters don't know the concept of shame
Majority of them were already tankies and pro russia anyway
Calling Zelensky a dicator and sayign that Ukraine started the war is such a disgusting and vile statement full of lies Im not even sure how to comprehend it.I know this is off-topic here, but I'd be deeply ashamed if I had vote for Trump after what he wrote and said today. AMD could really do something great right now but knowing how they are they will still manage to shit the bed somehow.

I actually liked Monster Train more, because StS was just stressful to play. Monster Train wants you to break the game, and I found that experience way more fun and sometimes even relaxing. Can't wait for this one!apparently this has a demo out already even though it just got announced today
interested to check that out later, I remember really liking the first one(even more than I ever liked Slay the Spire personally speaking)
big year for that genre between this and Slay the Spire 2
I think StS is much more elegantly designed but I played a heck of a lot of both.I actually liked Monster Train more, because StS was just stressful to play. Monster Train wants you to break the game, and I found that experience way more fun and sometimes even relaxing. Can't wait for this one!
It's the damn tourists fault!this is your fault Hektor

MTG’s Final Fantasy set sells out instantly, despite inflated prices
The Magic: The Gathering x Final Fantasy set has a surprisingly high price tag, but that hasn't stopped fans, collectors, and scalpers rushing to buy.www.wargamer.com
Reminds me of the state of Sound Blaster enhanced audio, which we had many many years of, and now nobody misses. I saw it coming, when MS talked about a future with no sound cards. PhysX will be the same. Lost to time.Quite possibly the WORST news I've heard.
Threatening PC Gaming's biggest asset, backwards compatibility is downright criminal. My reasoning to buy NVIDIA was because it was the most compatible card, but now I'm not so sure.
PALworld has now sold over 32 million copies. Or at least that's how many people have played it. No wonder the Pokemon company sued them. They "really" must see them as somewhat of a threat even though they are not aimed at the same audience. The closest rival to Pokemon for a time was Yokai Watch. The series as a whole for Yokai sold over 17 million units.... That's good multiple installments over multiple years. PALworld basically managed to sell 2X what Yokai Watch did and did it in just 1 year. Let that sink in.
That's pretty insane.
The issue seems to be between the Pokemon Company and Game freak. Pokemon Co just won't give Gamefreak enough time to make games. Nintendo gives its devs as much time as they want but the Pokemon Company just won't allow it. Even stuff like the Legend of Zelda has years in development now.Nintendo's biggest fear is probably them doing a Palworld 2 that improves on many things and snipes even more stuff from the Pokemon games. And selling like 50 million next go around. A good sequel with more RPG/Story stuff could be massive. There is a lot of potential.
That is why they are so obsessed with shutting that team down one way or another. Or make them pay.
At the very least it should light a fire under Pokemon Co's ass so they can make better and bigger games. Competition is good![]()
Yeah really enjoying it. I have now also started with rifle and use entangle, then switch to grimoire to freeze and shield. Feels fun!Still early hours, but I really dig magic in Avowed. Almost overpowered, but I think it will be more balanced once enemies use their physical effects more effectively. The early enemies are obviously pretty soft (and dumb) about that. The combination of the wand that you basically use as a magical pistol that never needs reloading (or mana), plus a grimoire with super powerfull spells (which do need a lot of mana), feels amazing so far. If it does ever get a bit boring, you can also dual wild any combination, so swapping out the wand with a sword, spear, or pistol is totally possible.
Should be fine. There's some connections for fans of the series to appreciate, but nothing that is super important ( so far)Do I need to play the pillars games for avowed? i read somewhere they’re in the same universe?
my guess was it was ok to start with avowed.

Also to note that in the game, also in the POE games there is an in game encyclopaedia of the world things. Which you can even access while in dialogue.Should be fine. There's some connections for fans of the series to appreciate, but nothing that is super important ( so far)
The concept of souls and the gods is pretty important, but I would expect that Avowed will do a good job of introducing these on its own.
From the little I saw on stream, the game is pretty lore-dumpy for newcomers.Do I need to play the pillars games for avowed? i read somewhere they’re in the same universe?

steam deck seems rough, where it can't hold 30 but a steady 30 or 40 on the ROG should be possible at higher wattages.Thinking Avowed might be a pickup for some summer play.
How is Steam Deck or ROG Ally performance?
Steam does not store games in uncompressed form (to save on bandwidth for them, and well, you as well when downloading), so this means the client has to decompress and that's a computationally tough problem. It's not ultra hard, but it will push the CPU to near its max wattage on the Steam Deck.I had never noticed my Steam Deck fans go full speed while downloading stuff![]()
I guess this IP must have a big following? Why else make a licensed video game, unless it was the IP holder that payed for the video game to be made.Uh...
I’m playing it on Deck and it’s rough. At times it can do 30-35 fps on the lowest settings but if you’re in an area with a lot going on it can drop below that. I’ve seen the fps get to around 17 but that’s pretty rare, usually 24-25 is the lowest it goes.Thinking Avowed might be a pickup for some summer play.
How is Steam Deck or ROG Ally performance?
Right, but it’s weird that I had never noticed it before. Like, I used to set my Deck on my bed while charging and to my knowledge is has never overheated or otherwise push the fans as much.Steam does not store games in uncompressed form (to save on bandwidth for them, and well, you as well when downloading), so this means the client has to decompress and that's a computationally tough problem. I think they did original AC3 that way because you can't buy the DLC anymore, similar to the removal of the multiplayer achievements on the games that have servers turned off. They actually went in and edited the achievement lists on Ubiconnect as they were there previously. I'm really impressed with the level of care that has been put into the roll-out.Steam achievements are up for ACIII Remastered.

Weirdly, this version includes the achievements for the DLC as well as the built-in version of AC Liberation whereas the 2012 version only got achievements for the base game, for some reason. Ah, looking at Ubisoft Connect, it seems the original doesn't have DLC achievements there either. That explains it, I guess.
I don't think I have heard Alex being this happy about a PC release in years
Oh man, I used to watch samurai pizza cats way back in the day. I may give this a shot for nostalgia's sake.
That's weird because the base game has also been delisted. I guess they didn't want owners without the DLC to be locked out of getting 100%?I think they did original AC3 that way because you can't buy the DLC anymore, similar to the removal of the multiplayer achievements on the games that have servers turned off. And yet still no Immortals cheevos. And yeah, they're being uncharacteristically thorough with this. Even updating delisted games and removing unobtainable online achievements. They had even missed one for ACIII and removed it after people mentioned it on the Steam forums.
