Resident Evil 9 is incredible, it's like if Resident Evil 1 and 6 loved each other very much and had a lot of passionate sex and RE1 ended up accidentally pregnant, but RE6 didn't wanted to have kids so he left and RE1 divorced and now Resident Evil 9 lives with RE1 but occasionally spends time with RE6 on the weekends.
Also, it continues to be incredibly embarassing for the rest of the videogame industry just how obscenely well the Resi games always perform while looking like they do. Fluid, Stable 60FPS on high details exclusing RayTracing, not a single drop all throughout.

But but but... Steam users don't buy "cinematic™" 3rd person games!
The pixel art here looks amazing, like this would fit perfectly with Capcom at their pinnacle of CPS2. As great as the pixel art on modern games can sometimes be, they rarely get remotely up to the tier of all the true legends.

Hahaha I just tested it myself and I can confirm that it's true: - Latest NVIDIA Game Ready Driver (595.59): 79 FPS - GRD 576.88 from July 2025: 133 FPS Exact same scene, 1440p path tracing with DLSS SR Quality + FG 2X + RR. What. A. Mess!

I have the same issue with this as I do the casting of He Man in Masters of the Universe. No one is going To be good enough to fill the role.
