I'm hyped as hell, honestly little salty I got no invite even as I have platinumed the game (not that it guarantees anything but cursing at my own luck).

Wow, finally some gameplay. It looks like Nioh alright, but looks like there are many new monsters and you can change form in the sequel.

Anyway, is it confirmed to be a full-year PS4 exclusivity yet again? Fool me once...

I think these "exclusive" betas guarantee that it's going to be year again. Nevertheless day 1, cannot contain myself for this game.
Biggest issue was enemy variety and looking at the trailer there's no single recycled enemy from first game shown which makes my hopes high.
 
Balls, I didn't get an invite! Ah well. I'm excited for this - loved the first one.

Would hope so, don't want them to stray too far away from the first one.
Tune the drops a little tho, getting inventory full of trash is not fun.

I usually just went through me gear when I died, or when I was expecting a boss ahead. No point in constantly looking since you'll be replacing it every minute if you are doing that.
 
Only looked at it when not doing a mission. Just felt like that we happening more then playing. Also small increments in stats and whatnot didn't really interest me towards the end.

I enjoyed say 3/4 of the first play through. Just lost interest when it turned into standard loot and slight improvements.

Anyone know if the alpha codes are tied to an account? I got one, but I think there are others who would be way more excited than me to play it.

Cool, enjoy. I really liked the first game, but I just can't see making the time to take advantage of this. Give good alpha feedback for all of us future players. (y)

Played the first mission and all I can say is, yes, it's definitely more Nioh.
 
Got a code from a friend. Liking it, but feels very, very iterative. Still getting it day-1.
 
Second mission was more of the same, not exactly blown away after Sekiro but I'll take it Day 1.
Not a huge fan of the new farmable special moves, there was already enough farming in the game as is.
