I also finally finished a game today! Second one this year, Forgotton Anne. Really liked it, the graphical style does so much. Interesting story in a weird world. Definitely worth the experience.
nice ... i haven't played it yet, although i do have it installed ... so maybe soon then :p

Also fresgVeggie, Steamworld dig 2 is even better!
yes ... yes, it is!

Thanks a lot freshVeggie! Steamworld Dig is great, after finishing the first one you should try the second. I finished it a month ago and it was a wonderful experience, imo it's their finest game to date.

I'm going to wreck my child's development process due to playing Umineko around him... He will learn Japanese before Polish if things don't change.
(Not that that would be a bad thing. Polish sucks ass.)

Has anyone bought anything from the current Razer sale?

If I'm reading my email correctly, with each of the 10 sale items I'm supposed to received a €10 voucher, and I was wondering what's the minimum amount I would have to spend on a second order to be able to use it.
When they have €15 vouchers, I believe the minimum to be able to use it is €30, but since this code is of a lower amount, I'm wondering what the limit is.

I posted on the deals section about the Voidu sale, and I'm posting here as well, in case anyone is looking for a particular game or pre-order at a potentially great price.

Despite not being, as far as I can tell, mentioned anywhere on their website and promotional emails, the current Voidu discount code BLACKFRIDAY gives an additional whooping 30% off.
With that discount code, they actually have some great deals on both discounted titles and pre-orders, but fail to advertise it properly.

Their discounted deals are here (and the discount code takes 30% off those listed prices):
Black Friday Sale

They have some great deals on games from Arc System Works, Capcom, SEGA, Bandai Namco, Betheda, WB, ...

Hoping to finish DQ11 by end of the week so i can get into Darksiders 3 and Megaman 11. I'd get JC4 if I can find its ultimate edition for cheap
Via a pricing error of course :V

I was trying to place an order on Voidu, and it got declined (without even launching Paypal) because of their "Risk Policy".
Has this ever happened to anyone else?

This is a first. After 17 orders, they apparently decided I'm a shady customer.

I listed so far 60 titles for the 2019 Highlight thread.
Gonna try and get 10-20 listed per day until after Capcom Cup and get it posted on here.
awesome, can't wait!

If anyone enjoys 2D action platformers, like some of the older 2D Robocop games, be on the lookout for this game;

I was sent a beta of the first chapter, and it's a blast to play. Very fluid, lovely pixel graphics, great soundtrack, and a very fun, very 80's vision of a chaotic future, complete with punks and gangs as enemies.
A very welcome surprise.

Here's an outdated trailer for the game. Do note that this trailer is almost 2 years old, and the look of the game was greatly improved, particularly the backgrounds;

I was checking my Steam product activation page, and I just realized I bought too much crap. :p
As usual, I wasn't expecting to purchase anything in particular, but between Steam, Humble, Voidu, GMG, and more, I bought a lot of crap.
Most of it was cheap games or DLCs, but still, I really have to cut back a bit. I'm sure I'll get through the upcoming Winter sale without buying anything (I won't ;)).

Anyway, here are my final selections for the Steam Awards:

https://store.steampowered.com/SteamAwardNominations/?u=76561197970181963&k=8497223446848357831

I tried to fit in all the games I most played this year.

Couldn't find a PC part/building thread...I am finally going to buy a HDD - tired of dealing with two 256GB SSDs as my HDD died two years ago.

What brand & model do you recommend? I don't need something fancy, maybe just 7200 RPM...they still do that right? xD

Follow my curator for more great game recommendations!

NeonCode is a short Cyberpunk styled adventure game set in a fully explorable 3D world. You play Craig Williams, a suspended cop looking to make ends meet when he hears a shot in the distance and goes to investigate.

Full of nods and winks to the genre and other Sci-fi, Duerden Lane, Commander Shepard appears on the 20 credit note (well how else would you make purchases from your favourite store on the citadel?), this rendition of what appears to be future Miami/Vice City is an imaginative place. The city and surrounds are surprisingly large with plenty of nooks and crannies to explore. In fact, more game and even sub-quests could easily have been accommodated without too much reuse of locations. The English translation could probably use an improvement though and the text is pretty small at high resolutions.

Made largely with free unity assets repetition is common. The same hover-car constantly runs the same loop and only a few body models are used. The graphics while pretty basic still allow for a wonderful atmosphere of night time, fog and neon, the staples of the Cyberpunk genre. The game also has a fantastic original soundtrack that should probably be added as a DLC.

For all the faults, there is plenty of fun to be had and with the admirable ambition present, it's well worth the price. There's even a car chase!

The game looks pretty decent. It's obviously a low budget game, but it doesn't look too bad, for the price.
I'll give it a go. :)

One question, though: I see screen tearing on the trailer that's available on Steam.
Is there a v-sync option in the game?
thanks

I don't think there are any options apart from the standard Unity popup at the start where you select resolution and graphics level. I can't comment on screen-tearing as I have a Gsync monitor sorry.
