It only took like 5 minutes to know that I would indeed like World of Final Fantasy

It also looks like Valve fixed my missing tokens, so I actually have enough for a 5€ discount now, yay.
...Only that I already bought the stuff, lol.
So I'll probably refund and rebuy for cheaper, or if they give out enough points to make me reach a 2nd discount, there's one more game I'd buy.
Or I'll find something else I want for a 5er. We'll see.
Gosh I loved World of FF. Though when I played it on PS4 Pro there was a very annoying 4K bug... Messed up the DoF and made everything blurry. I gotta replay the PC version with Maxima DLC at some point here... Would also like to mess around with ReShade for it.

Anywho I hope you like it too! (And I hope it gets a sequel someday or something like it.)

Atlus jp has acknowledged the existence of Steam in their financial report, hopefully there is a chance.
Well these dummies are literally leaving money on the table with their 3rd-party exclusive bullshit. They don't even secure funding from Nintendo/Sony for those exclusives...

As you say, let's hope they pull their collective heads out of their butts and start looking at PC properly and not just an afterthought.

For some weird reason (probably because of the pixelated graphics of the game I posted above, Open Sewer), I got randomly reminded of how much I would like to play Mizzurna Falls, especially since I liked Human Entertainment's games.

For those unaware, it's this game:

Are there any good, "strange", open world adventure/investigation games on Steam that share any similarities with it, and that I may have missed?
An obvious one is Deadly Premonition, which I already own.
Omikron: The nomad Soul also shares some similarities as well.
Kentucky Route Zero kind of maybe? Not really open world, but plenty of locations that can be visited. Unfortunately still not completed though.
LA Noire comes to mind as well, but I personally didn't like it very much and doesn't have any "strangeness" to it on the level of DP.

Durante Someone should make a dungeon crawler/roguelike that nicks Made in Abyss curse mechanics.
Each time you climb a level back to the base your party gets hurt/poisoned/level-drained/whatever.
Severely on lower levels.
Irreversibly so if you manage to reach lowest strata

Bioshock Infinite does indeed have some lovely visuals, I wanted to see how it'd run on my rig and it runs fine, but alas the game uses FXAA, and outside of downsampling, which I can't do on my GTX 970M, I need to utilize reshade, which I will be doing soon just to see what it'd look like.
I should also point out how Depth of Field is a freaking lie; it just hides the faraway aliasing/jaggies.
To give a visual example

Night and friggin' day.

Ive tried twice to get into Bioshock Infinite and given up both times around the 3-4 hour mark. Keep meaning to give it a proper go. Enjoyed the first two. Dont really know why the 3rd doesnt grab me.

With some games you feel like all the gameplay it could offer is shown in the first couple of hours, then afterwards it just repeats the same gameplay loop over and over and it feels like it drags.
Maybe that's why you couldn't continue in Bioshock Inf.?

Yeah that sounds about right. I like the intro, wander about a bit, take in the visuals and the world and then the action starts and I just kind of tune out. Shame as I'd like to see the story through. Will get round to it one day.

So, after the daily reset, my capacity is suddenly 2000 points below my earned points. And I had not even maxed out my points versus capacity yesterday...

EDIT: And a thought just occurred to me... Steam performs hardware analysis surveys right?
So, why do they not store this data, and show you on store pages whether your computer meets the system requirements?

I had the exact same problem back when I played it, despite being super hyped to get it.
I played a few hours and then took a month long break before managing to get back into it and ultimately finish it, and it never stuck with me the same way BS1/2 did.

It seems to be happening to a lot of people. Personally I'm down about 1911 points, which is even weirder.

Regarding the system requirements, as far as I know these are just text fields, which is why you occasionally see nonsense/joke requirements. To automate this, all the existing (or merely all future) requirements would have to be entered in a structured manner so that the piece of hardware referenced could be understood by the backend. But not only would the data have to be structured, it would also require a quite extensive database of of all the different pieces of hardware, so that the system could make a decision about which particular models did or did not meet a given set of specs (if a requirement says X shader model, then what does that mean in practice, etc.).

In practical terms, it is a lot easier to let people figure it out themselves and then just let the automated refund system handle it when people get it wrong.

Yeah that's true, but they do something like that at Can I Run It?
So, like that but integrated with Steam would be awesome.

Can Qualifier Tasks be done again on a new day?
Sadly no.

Thats because the combat sucks: bad enemy feedback and the weapons don't feel powerful. A good comparison is fighting Big Daddys/Sisters vs fighting Handymen.

I know it seems to be waifus and waifus, but does anyone tried Neoverse ?
How does it rank as a Slay the spire clone?
I have it, but I'm waiting for it to leave Early Access to really dig in. :x

Last I knew, the translation was still quite bad and confusing at times,

So uh, it's official...

Oh God, he's such a beautiful baby boy. I cried for the first time in more than a decade.

:wd_heart:
Congrats!

This videogame is officially good

Needs more 2Booty. I wonder if Microsoft would ban you for it though...?

Mhm, this is on gamepass right? And since it's first-party it shouldn't leave?

I haven't seen anything lewd yet fwiw.
It's on gamepass indeed. between this and the bunch of indies i've demoed and uninstalled, the trial month has been hella worth it.

There's occasionally some that pop up that are made by furry artists.

But even those are usually pretty tame. Anything too revealing or suggestive is removed fairly quickly from what I've seen.

My Paypal funds are decreasing at an alarming rate. :wd_shaking:

Those "Qualifier Tasks" are repeatable each day, right? They're still ticked for some reason...
I don't think that the qualifier tasks are repeatable, unfortunately.
