So I've never played a Yakuza game before, do I start with Zero, then Kiwami, then Kiwami 2?

PC only.
Its hard to say. Kiwami has less content than Zero and is the “worst” out of the 3 despite still being great, and going from Zero to Kiwami can be considered a huge step down.

Personally id recommend Kiwami > Zero > Kiwami 2 but you do what you prefer. Kiwami is the first game tho and is still good for first timers.

Guys, don't forget to post about good deals and hidden gems, or just random recommendations, in our summer sale suggestions topic:

So far, we haven't even filled a single page of posts.

General question folks, whats the ratio of combat like in Shadow Of The Tomb Raider compared to Tomb Raider/ROTTR ? I'll be honest here and say I really enjoyed both of the previous Tomb Raider games and their general heavy combat focus (with a bit of exploration) but I don't really care about puzzles so was just curious.

SoTR dials the amount of combat back a lot, and that which is there is a bit more predator-stealth focused than in the other games.

Righto, thanks for the reply :) I'll still get it eventually but nice to see where things stand with it.

I am curious if Max Payne 3 counts towards these point things. I played it for more than 30 mins. and I should've at least gotten a few points from it.

I thought today was an appropiate day to start this

:p
But I realized I'm not really in the mood after a bit, so back to Yakuza it is.
I bought it a while ago due to its soundtrack by Steven Wilson. Hope it's decent haha (both game and music)

Kiwami has many references to 0, so I'd suggest starting with the latter just for that.

Be aware that the game will probably crash at start-up after you've saved once.

Fix:

The game's structure also means you'll repeat parts over and over and watch cutscenes over and over. Kept my review negative even after fixing the bug.

Wow. PC is “dominating” Atelier sales in Asia. (Probably China)

That explains why Koei actually pushes PC versions of their games in Japan. Definitely sounds good for the future of Koei and Atelier on PC 👍
This is great to hear and makes me think that Koei will keep supporting PC for the long term.

I just wish they would get better at their marketing game. They should try to better utilize Steam for hype, marketing, and SALES! It's seriously so rare for them to do sales. o_O ... but they could probably stand to make quite a bit more money from PC if they would just discount things every now and again.
