Wait, do those stack? Because it would be worth my time to start reinstalling games I've 100%ed the achievements for.

If that's already been answered, just tell me to drop it. :drinking-blob:
Discount coupons stack, yes.

I wonder if it would be possible to mod FF13 PC with the superrior One X cutscenes.
I suppose not, but it's not like it's a universally loved game so maybe there is just a lack of interest.

Wait, you can install games where you already have earned achievements and it'll give you tokens?
Well it will give you, excuse me for using terms from 324 versions of the meta game ago, white points, yeah. But as long as you don't have red... and if you don't have spent a good amount on steam for the last few months the only way to gain red is to buy things.

Edit - Or was red white and white red ? Fuck this noise.

I seem to recall a project that ripped the PS3 cutscenes and stuffed them into PC ver. I assume if someone could open and rip them from One X version such a thing would be possible once more. Sadly as you say, it's most likely a lack of current interest that will keep it from happening.

I'm not nearly proficient enough. My own modding ability ends at texture editing in Photoshop lol.

Did they actually rerender the cutscenes for the Xbox One version?

Nah, just used the Bluray encodes from the PS3 version.
After reading the article about Frontier helping a dying kid I want to re-buy it. Couldn't get into the game the first time I played it.

Shareholders of Nintendo already asked about PC ports/hardware/software in 2017.
That said I don't really think anything is going to happen.
This is correct and IIRC they weren't interested on such expansions, just their own hardware/ecosystem and the little entry (by that time) in mobile.
So yeah, Nintendo is not interested on any kind of expansion at the very moment in terms of new platforms and horizons. Services tho? maybe :p

I paid 75 dollars for beta access back before release, didn't play a lot after the full game came out, but now I think that was money well spent. Well done, Frontier!

Also, welcome back JaseC ! :cat-heart-blob:

It's disappointing to see acquisitions being so frequent lately, and worse the people who cheer for their favorite-platform-holder's get. History has not been kind to the fate of acquisitions. The same bullshit is always repeated: Now this developer has the backing it needs to make even better games. We're not going to influence their creative freedom. And yet, whether intentional or not, many are never the same, or simply close once the buyer's interests change.

Anybody here still play elite dangerous?
On and off. Playing in VR + HOTAS is pretty incredible. A buddy and I were doing some mining a few months ago. Mining has gotten a lot better than it used to be. Deep Core mining is actually fun. You're basically looking for treasure in large fields of rocks. And likely piloting a brick with no maneuverability. Good times.

Yoshitaka Amano da gods Lilina art is now purchasable as a card sleeve :sweaty-blob:

Would have been surprised about the unusual high effort for a square enix port
Digging into it, it seems that the PS3 version still has a slight IQ edge indeed.
Well, ok then. Does a PC mod exists or has it stayed as a project ?

Btw can’t even begin to understand how you launch a fucking ccg without mobile, it boggles the mind. Admittedly, the mobile ccg craze seems to have died down but still. Gwent, Magic Arena, what the fuck are you doing ?

I was under the impression that the back compat ff13 on xbox still had bink encodes, just higher quality. Basically that the ps3 still has highest, then xbone, then pc and then 360.

Disappointing to see this rabbit in 1st place of the grand prix. Someone please gut this thing and throw it on the grill so we can all have a nice breakfast while watching Corgi win.

MS and Sony are gearing up for a netflix/hbo style battle next gen. Its basically gonna be the battle of 1st party content + how frequent they release things. Everything will be about subscription numbers and not how much hardware they sell. Especially with rumors of the next consoles launching north of 500$.

I'm kind of shocked Sony is chasing after Remedy tbh. Like they don't have enough 3rd person action adventure games in their portfolio? How about acquire someone who can make a flagship FPS game for PS5. Something unique would be nice for once. Microsoft I would say needs Remedy so much more but Quantum Break was such an astronomical flop that it wasn't even top 5 best selling Xbox one game the month it released. It didn't even chart in the npd iirc. I'm surprised they even had the funds to make Control.

Guerilla and Insomniac are still around, Sony can revive Killzone and Resistance at any given moment. I think Sony has enough studios that could make an original game, they just chose to concentrate on bigger titles.

Sony not doing a Killzone trilogy remaster this gen is almost as tragic as not remastering Demon Souls. Yet those boring and dated Nathan Drake games get the luxury.

I replayed KZ2 not so long ago and the game holds up pretty well for an early console release, a few tweaks to encounter design would've been nice though.

I want to see a remake of Fall of Man one day, Resistance series never lived up to the full potential, and the first game felt dated back in 2006. There's a good sci-fi franchise hidden in it.

Gets weirder. On PSN it's 29,99€, on Xbox 19,99€. Someone must've been drunk while entering all the prices.

I wouldn't take V2 is indication of anything, they were added to SDK really long time ago. (over 2.5 years ago).

Me, watching new GPUS's from my 970

lol. 970 was my old card before 1080ti. The VRAM issue kept bugging the heck the out of me. Especially as someone who liked to load up 100+ mods in Skyrim/Fallout 4. :p

... Also, when I switched to a 4K TV from a 1080p one. That kinda necessitated a better GPU as well.

What's weird is that every GPU since 1080ti has less VRAM and a minimal at best (2080ti) jump in power. The VRAM especially doesn't make sense. I have games now that will chew up all 11GB on my 1080ti. Why would we go backwards on VRAM amount? o_O

Like RTX is cool and all, but it's meaningless to me at the moment because RTX+4K at the same time is a disaster that not even the most expensive card in Nvidia's lineup can handle...
