Also, I got another 2 999 endings!
(Still going left to right, lol).
Endings were "Zero Lost" and the corresponding Bad Ending (Knife) afterwards
Steam is having severe issues with the inventory since the sale started, even during times when there aren't many online. What's the best way to use steam inventory, to turn stuff into gems or sell stuff? Trying the app and the web way and both are useless, in that they rarely load everything and can't see prices or turn to gems. Or maybe it's just the system being shitty now?

I'm not starting any just now, I was just replying to the overall "40 hour character creation" themeWhat CRPG are you starting? Lots out there to choose from these days.
kecmo gonna kecmoSo, i started playing Attack on Titan 2, and i'm 6 hours, and even tho it's Attack on Titan 2, the first 39% of the game have been the story of the first season of the anime, which is what the first game already covered, and i'm not even through with that yet, using the exact same maps and missions.
Or in other words, the entire first half of Attack on Titan 2's story mode is you replaying the missions from the first game.
Not all missions, as they leave out the filler ones, but nonetheless,
Only Koei Tecmo can charge 70€ for a game + 50€ for a story expansions + 50€ for minor DLC's, for a game that's arguably not even midbudget and still bother to make half it's content a literal copy paste of an earlier 70€ game.
And none of it has never went on sale to boot.
The only actual difference between the first and the second game thus far is, that the first game ahs you play the anime's characters, but in the second one you play a self-created OC and the promise that there is new story content in the second half of the game.kecmo gonna kecmo
yeah, pretty much ... it's so weird that kecmo, of all the corporations, just get away with all their bullshitThe only actual difference between the first and the second game thus far is, that the first game ahs you play the anime's characters, but in the second one you play a self-created OC and the promise that there is new story content in the second half of the game.
It's as if NieR Automata's Route A and B&C would have been sold as seperate 70€ games each.
luckily port wise its huge improvement over the first game , which was absolute garbage , this one runs well and even is KúM-ableThe only actual difference between the first and the second game thus far is, that the first game ahs you play the anime's characters, but in the second one you play a self-created OC and the promise that there is new story content in the second half of the game.
Just play them in release order. That is what I did and was happy with it. There are some callbacks here and there in some of the games but for the most part all three are their own thing. So, currently playing a bit of Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag which is awesome.
I also got Unity and Syndicate already lined up.
If one would get Rogue as well, were does that fit into the timeline?
And does it really matter anymore since they left Desmond and the numbered games behind?
At least the Expansion was bundled with the base game for future purchases which is shocking for Koei. So, i started playing Attack on Titan 2, and i'm 6 hours, and even tho it's Attack on Titan 2, the first 39% of the game have been the story of the first season of the anime, which is what the first game already covered, and i'm not even through with that yet, using the exact same maps and missions.

It's working for me right now (was down yesterday for a bit though). Is STEAM friends down for anyone else?
Down for me too, it has been that way the last two or three days. I don't know what's happening...Is STEAM friends down for anyone else?
Yeah it's behaving weird. The last 2 days it said it can't reach friends network for a few hours but it was up for others (and than fixed itself)It's working for me right now (was down yesterday for a bit though).
Yep, Happened to my friend last night and is happening to me now. Seems like its been going on for a few days.Yeah it's behaving weird. The last 2 days it said it can't reach friends network for a few hours but it was up for others (and than fixed itself)
The power of anime. I don’t mean it in a disrespectful way toward the audience, but yeah. It’s a video game in its own right but even if it turns out mediocre in some way its also a media franchise, and even if we ignore that huge aspect, its also an anime game, a style of aesthetic that sells very well worldwide. In that sense, I can’t help but think that we can make a parallel with EA and the annualized sports games. The attract goes beyond the game alone. The only actual difference between the first and the second game thus far is, that the first game ahs you play the anime's characters, but in the second one you play a self-created OC and the promise that there is new story content in the second half of the game.

Keep in mind VLR is thrice as long as 999, ends on a cliffhanger and has a mediocre at best sequel that doesn't resolve all dangling plot threadsNow do I want to go right into Virtue's Last Reward or should I let things sink in for a bit
Once you have the general concept and ideas in mind, you don't need to remember much for VLR.Now do I want to go right into Virtue's Last Reward or should I let things sink in for a bit
That should mean no more boosting, no more new tokens. The Steam Grand Prix 2019 will run twelve days, from 10 AM PDT June 25, 2019 to 9:59:59 AM PDT July 7, 2019.
Ugh. ZTD is such a bad note for the series to end on...Keep in mind VLR is thrice as long as 999, ends on a cliffhanger and has a mediocre at best sequel that doesn't resolve all dangling plot threads

Is that when they will finally deliver my free Cyberpunks? I understand that their servers have struggled but this is quite the delay.Everyone, be aware that the race ends today.
That should mean no more boosting, no more new tokens.
and my free atelier! Is that when they will finally deliver my free Cyberpunks?
Anyone know how? The one guide I found just listed settings which I can follow ubt I have no idea how to set up the other stuff XD
you need to use nvidia inspector and find the correct bits for the AA ... i think someone already posted nvidia inspector tutorial on MC ... somewhere?Anyone know how? The one guide I found just listed settings which I can follow ubt I have no idea how to set up the other stuff XD
Sometime soon I should really take the time to read up on changes and later level stuff that I've missed or forgotten about. Because that's great advice about the retainers and I had no idea. Guess that's a bunch of hours saved now that I won't have to mess around with an alt.Since leveling alts isn’t necessary in XIV, I use my favorite character designs on my retainers.
I've already purchased the entire trilogy, I'm committed to see things through!Keep in mind VLR is thrice as long as 999, ends on a cliffhanger and has a mediocre at best sequel that doesn't resolve all dangling plot threads
I was not thinking of that long a break, haha.Once you have the general concept and ideas in mind, you don't need to remember much for VLR.
Considering you enjoyed 999 if I were you I would jump straight into VLR. Nothing like getting straight into the sequel after having a great time with a gameI've already purchased the entire trilogy, I'm committed to see things through!
I was not thinking of that long a break, haha.
More like if I should just boot it up later today or play some other things for a few days
I just purchased a cheap game, and I received tokens.Everyone, be aware that the race ends today.
That should mean no more boosting, no more new tokens.
Well I ended up doing just that after allConsidering you enjoyed 999 if I were you I would jump straight into VLR. Nothing like getting straight into the sequel after having a great time with a game
Originally, the first game didn't even had a flowchart. VLR made that a thing, the DS version of 999 had you play towards each of the endings all the way from the beginning every time.Well I ended up doing just that after all
Initial thoughts after playing until the first branching path:
That flowchart is way bigger
Not yet sold on the character models, the 2D ones looked way better in 999.
Disappointed that the MC isn't voiced. That added a lot in 999. <.<
Interesting that Clover is in the game again. Alice is obviously the woman they pick up at the very very end of 999, though I have no clue who she is and what her deal is. Is she actually related to that All-ice thingy?
Oof. Yeah that flowchart is a massive QoL help.Originally, the first game didn't even had a flowchart. VLR actually made that a thing, the DS version of 999 had you play towards each of the endings al the way from the beginning every time.
