Last year I bought Trails from Zero from that chinese site people recommend. Back then I tried it on this PC and the game was working.
Today I decided to give up on waiting for the geofront translation and just play it with the existing one. Now the game wont launch, even without the patch. I redownloaded an reinstalled, nothing works. I get a black screen like the game is going to boot but it crashes right away, it's driving me crazy.

Downunder.
Extraction? Can you somehow download a PSN game to PC?
Most definitely, yeah. Use PSDLE to download it from your PSN download list, then use PSXtract for PS1/Classic ISO or PKGExtractor for PSP

I'll give it a try later tonight (getting it to run and installing the patch), will post here if I could get it working or not

I got stuck on the first step. I have now the PSDLE extension, but not sure how to download the game. Do I need to open PS3 and it will dowload it there and grab it somehow to USB stick?

Gotta admit, I own almost 2k games across all platforms and it's safe to say that I haven't finished even third of them, :disappointed-face:
Don't worry, my "stats" are even worse than yours. :giggle:

I mean, it's embarrassing, but I have entire series of games that I'm yet to play. I own The Witcher 1, 2 and 3, and only played like half of the first game.
I have The Evil Within 1 and 2, and haven't played any. Same thing with Rage and Rage 2. I played Just Cause 1, and 5 minutes of Just Cause 2. I have Just Cause 3 and 4 untouched. I haven't played a single game in the Tomb Raider reboot series, despite having all of them. I haven't played a single game in the Wolfenstein series after Return to Castle Wolfenstein, and I own all of them (and have Wolfenstein: Youngblood pre-ordered).

With many of these publishers doing their best to make my purchasing experience as displeasing as possible (store exclusivities, pre-order or retailer bonuses, microtransactions, ...), I think I'm done buying games from many of them, except those small indie developers who I still like to support on day one.
I'm genuinely going to make an effort to tackle some of these games in the near future, while skipping buying most of the "big" games at launch.

I'm finding that it makes for a far better, uncomplicated gameplay experience.
I play games fully patched, all the expansions and added content are already available, I can pretty much put everything at max, and still enjoy a flawless gameplay experience.

You guys worry too much. ;)
Do you honestly play all these games (or do you, like me, just want to buy them, so they remain unplayed for ages)? :grinning-face-with-smiling-eyes:

I have so many games in my backlog, and with so many cool games launching every month, why should I be worried about a game being EGS exclusive or not?
I keep interrupting or dropping games due to a lack of time (awesome games like Grim Dawn, Yakuza 0, Bloodstained, and many others), and some I'm yet to even start playing, so frankly, I couldn't care less if the game is EGS exclusive.

Since I already have a few games pre-ordered for later in the year, I'll be making an increased effort to play the games I already own, and buy less games.
I mean, I'll still keep buying DLCs like pinball tables, and smaller games (especially point and click, FMV games, and shmups, which are genres that most people never bother supporting, not even "indie friendly" Tim Sweeney), but I'll be cutting down on "big" games.
All that matters is that Digimon Cyber Sleuth releases in October and will not be exclusive :p

I admit I'm not very familiar with the series, so I don't share your enthusiasm. :)
But, I'm up for giving it a go!

I'm more looking forward to Disaster Report 4. :blobcheer:
I enjoy "quirky" Japanese games, and it seems that sadly, we don't get them as frequently as we did.
I like things like Phoenix Wright, or Trauma Center, or Osu! Tatakae! Ouendan. Or even Endless Ocean, and Jet Set Radio.

If instead of the Super Smash Bros., Zelda, and Mario games, Nintendo released a new F-Zero, or games like Giftpia or Captain Rainbow, I would probably still buy Nintendo consoles.

I just want my man Suda to release No More Heroes on PC, that's it.
Oh, I forgot about No More Heroes.

My Wii was basically used for 2 things: No More Heroes 1 & 2 (plus a couple more games), and playing TurboGrafx-16/PC Engine games on the Virtual Console (this console was never released where I live, so the VC was a great way to catch up, and play lots of cool games like the Bonk series, and lots of classic shmups).

Soon finished Quake and it’s expansions. I had the base game on physical back in the day but never got the expansions. Was nice experience to visit the game again.

Next Quake 2 and it’s expansions 😎
Just a heads up: Quake 2 is super different from Quake 1. I didn’t really care for any of the changes they made to world/atmosphere/gameplay (speed felt off)

That waifu Wizardry port that was announced several months ago is dead, right?
I'm hoping it isn't.
I like the genre, and was looking forward to it. :(

Oh well, I guess I'll play the recently launched Chinese game Dungeon of Dragon Knight, which I bought on the last sale, and looks nice:

yep. im still disappointed after all those years that i never got a Q1 sequel and everything else Quake got was multiplayer or a sequel to the game called Quake 2 which has nothing to do with Quake 1.

yeah, it's a shame

ah well - we've already waited this long, we might as well wait another 12 months ... i truly don't care
Agree, the problem is that they will use the cliched excuse 'we don't bring that game to pc because the last one didn't sell well at all'. We know the drill ;)

FunktionJCB stop writing good posts, I'm tired of liking them :sweaty-blob:
prudis and funktion are dangerous to my wallet with their recommendations and new releases posts. They bring the kind of curated content I can get behind :steam_gp_corgi:

fuck 'em then ... not my fault
You know it's your fault lashylashy.

I think it's delayed indefinitely but I still hope for an August release. Hopefully they'll figure whatever is holding them from releasing it already sooner than later.

You're too kind. :photoblobheart:

But, instead of me, you should be thanking Mor and lashman, who do a tirelessly job documenting every new, interesting, Steam game on:

And, Tizoc , for his usual awesome work with his monthly topics documenting the best upcoming releases.

Not familiar with the game series or the Digimon franchise in general?
If it's the former, weill I have no idea either
I just know it's a turn-based monster-training JRPG with Digimon and apparently a real-life part á la Persona. And the character designer also did Devil Surviver and the Yozakura Quartet manga among other things.

If it's about the franchise, I recommend checking out the Digimon Adventure 1 and Digimon Tamers animes, they're still great.

Tetris Effect is great (own on PS4) but I can't imagine that it was a big hit, selling Tetris no matter how good for 40€ is risky and the game doesn't have too many ratings on PSN. Getting some moneybags for doing a quick port? Easy decision.

It's a bit of both, actually. :giggle:

I know the franchise is supposed to have some similarities with Pokemon, but I never saw any of the anime series, nor played any of the games.

In fact, it's been ages since I watched an anime series.

I usually enjoy shorter, darker, anime series like Paranoia Agent, Gantz, Speed Grapher, and similar series, so Digimon didn't really appear to be my thing. :)

Take note that PSN PS1 games that used CDDA for music originally, use lossy compression for audio tracks. It's best to just use the fanmade conversions in those cases.

Same, I assume it's also an age thing. When Pokemon, Digimon etc got popular I was into getting drunk, finishing school/starting uni and girls. I wasn't much older than the people who made them popular but at that age it was enough that I noticed those franchises but never got into them because they where obviously for younglings :p
