THE REMNANT OF MANKIND.

The world is in ruins. Only a remnant of mankind remains, hunted to near extinction by horrors from another world. Most of humanity live like rats in the rubble of devastated cities. A few survivors with the technology to open portals to fantastic, alternate worlds venture out each day hoping to scavenge resources and find a way to defeat the invaders. They struggle to carve a foothold, rebuild, and then retake what was lost. Remnant: From the Ashes is a third-person survival action game where players create characters to suit their playstyle and set out alone or up to a threesome of players to explore and survive the perils of diverse and deadly environments.

Invading other worlds to seek an end to the Root is dangerous and survival is far from guaranteed. Team up with up to a threesome of players to increase your chances of survival. All loot picked up by a player in Remnant is distributed equally among all players in the party. If someone takes the time to search every nook and cranny of a dungeon and collects a Sniper Rifle, for example, every other member of the team also receives the weapon regardless of where they are on the map. The same holds true for armor, rings, trinkets, and resources.

As one of the last remnants of humanity, you’ll set out alone or alongside up to two other players to face down hordes of deadly enemies. With over 100 varieties of enemies, 20 epic bosses, and endless possible combat scenarios, it’s going to take everything you’ve got to make it out alive. Feeling tough ? take on the challenge of nightmare and prepare to die.

NO TWO JOURNEYS EVER THE SAME.

Each of the game’s four unique worlds is filled with monstrous denizens and environments that will provide fresh challenges with each playthrough. you also have a hub area called ward 13 which is where you can buy/sell at vendors and upgrade and such which leads into next section.

I've always been mildly interested in this game. But lately I learned that there's a big focus on single player too here. Judging from the earlier trailers and such, I thought that it's just your regular co-op focused service game. So right now my interest has been increased for a bit. I'll probably play it but not at launch. I'd like to see the state of the content and endgame first.

This has been on my radar as its Gunfire Games, looks pretty sweet

Great OT, The Queen ! Curious on how the game will turn out for Gunfire that's other than Darksiders. Pretty cool that it doesn't rely solely on co-op.

I only found out about this game a while ago but damn it looks pretty fucking good. Will probably pick it up during the Winter Sale.

Hope it reviews well, enjoy the launch everyone!

Looking forward to this one, my friends are getting it but I'll be waiting a bit since it's pretty expensive and no CDKeys alternative.
Here's hoping it gets good reviews.

This game looks so good. It's also been awesome to be able to look forward to a game where I don't have to be worried it's an EGS exclusive or made by an asshole publisher. Yay!

Been looking for definitive answer and most ones seem to point to that it doesn't matter but let's just ask here too:
Does the starting class make any difference other than just starting gear? So you can become anything and wear everything even if you choose Ex-Cultist for example.

Correct, starting class only affects starting gear. You can get everything on one character.

I know you've been hyping this up recently Queen, it certainly looks pretty cool. Not sure if I'll buy it immediately but it's definitely on my radar.

I need a good schlooter in my life, so this is perfect timing. I'll be keeping my eyes on this one.

The game looks really cool, and the shared loot sounds like a great idea. Sadly I'm not a big multiplayer player (not even a small one haha) and I rarely play with my friends, so I'm still not sure if I'll ever play this.

Keep an eye on it. There's an SP mode so i'm interested in seeing how that pans out. Of course if the game is good there might be enough Co-op interest at MC for me to jump in and give it a go

honestly the game is perfectly fine solo, alot of the devs play solo, it isnt a destiny or division or borderlands where multi is mostly the way to play those. the best example for singleplayer experience is dark souls etc it is like that but also imagine dark souls where you can co op easily at any time and the game changes to that (more mobs in co op etc)

Welp, now I'm sold. As long as it's easier and less obscure than Dark Souls, I'm game.

Looks interesting, is there information out there about how customizable the camera is going to be? I don't mean fov but position (up/down/left/right/forward/backward) because this seems to hit the same "sweet spot" as warframe did where my stomach just can't handle it and so far it's just warframe, other 3rd person games are fine.

Is this like Destiny in that guns are always the primary weapon type, or can you do pure melee builds or other types of specializations?

Didnt see that there was a thread here as well, but like I said on the other place

I didn't realize this was a Darksiders dev game and that is literally the only game I got a platinum trophy on ps4 for this looks really exciting but it also has Co-Op/multiplayer as well

It looks cool so far
