Since we have many coffee lovers but also many non coffee drinkers here, let's have a place where we can talk about our love for coffee and try to convince the others to finally give coffee a chance!
Brewing
When it comes to brewing coffee there are a few ways to do it, I will just mention the most accessible ones to most.
Drip Machine
It's what most people have access to as it's the most common way to make coffee. It's great but it can filter out those nice oils in coffee but will give you the "cleanest" coffee.
French Press
Probably the cheapest way to make really good coffee, as opposed to filtered coffee this way you get to keep all the oils and stuff in the coffee so you get the "purest" coffee.(outside espresso) Note that you do need to have a kettle too.
Pour Over
The result is close to drip machine coffee but you have more control over the making off it, and it does look much nicer both to make and to serve! As with French press you also need a kettle.
Beans
When it comes to beans, best is to start with already ground coffee, try to avoid the cheaper ones, start at the mid tier price wise and experiment little to find what kind off coffee you like. And once you have an idea of what kind of coffee you might like then think about getting beans that you grind yourself, that way you get the most fresh coffee and get the most aromas and taste in your coffee.
Hand Grinder
To be cool, just go for a nice hand grinder, it can be a nice routine when making your coffee, makes it feel more personal!
Electric Grinder
For daily regular coffee making, sooner or later one probably wants to get an electric grinder. They are noisy but make it easy to always have fresh coffee!
