How poetic:I'm happy about this. I'm going to buy the Star Wars game now.
I believe we all said that All Roads Lead Back to Steam...
Yup, very big news. This is bigger than expected. New games AND EA Access.
Just block him, so you don't have to read his crap.Urgh that Mike Rose guy, seriously just cos you cheerlewd for Epic and they money hat doesn't mean Steam money hats too. Infact I can't think of a single reason why steam would moneyhat EA, it's been what ? 8 years since EA was on steam. A more logical conclusion is that EA has been struggling to get PC gamers to buy their shite so they have gone back to where the audience is.
Now there may have been some negotiation on percentage taken by valve but I imagine that is the case with most big publishers. But seriously this Mike guy with the "nuh huh Valve must have paid" bull.
i never said it's absolutely impossible ... just unlikelyApex on Steam! Told you lashman !
In March. Also, I wonder when will Ubi stop being a cunt and return to Steam.
They better, UbiIn March.
maybe
They were about a day too late since I already subbed to Origin Premier to play Fallen Order, but I will definitely consider buying the game on sale in the future.
Good news for future games, and I will definitely be migrating my Apex Legends stuff over to Steam and using that for easy updates.
He was replying to this:It's currently required to keep the game updated, but we'd like the whole process to be as frictionless as possible. We're looking at longer-term solutions that'll make it as easy as possible for players to enjoy our games on Steam.
So maybe they'll not require an installation of Origin in the future and maybe a login within the game or something. On the Steam page for Fallen Order :
So I guess that's confirmation they're going to Ubisoft route? Steam will launch the game via Origin?Incorporates 3rd-party DRM: EA on-line activation and Origin client software installation and background use required.
2019 is weird af."Since the time we removed our games from Steam, there's been this dramatic increase in the number of gaming services, which you would think would be really good for players. But I think in many cases, it's the exact opposite. It creates more difficulty for players, and providing player choice -- from my perspective and speaking on behalf of EA -- is really critical. It's an opportunity to make it possible for people to play where they want, to reduce that fragmentation and make it more frictionless... Reducing that fragmentation is really important. It's the most player-first thing we can do."
He's probably pulling as many strings as he can to get Kojima on the horn and licking down that Death Stranding exclusive.Has anybody checked on Timmy? Is he okay?
I think Kojjma won't play ball to be honest. I believe Death Stranding will launch on Steam. He's probably pulling as many strings as he can to get Kojima on the horn and licking down that Death Stranding exclusive.
Oh, I think so too. It'd look pretty bad for it to end up going EGS exclusive right now, tbh. But I don't think that'd stop Sweeny from trying.I think Kojjma won't play ball to be honest. I believe Death Stranding will launch on Steam.
I'm waiting for a long time for a worthy Jedi Knight successor. I'm happy about it being Lightsaber focused tbh. I'm even more happy about it not being a button smasher and about a bit more tactical combat (hopefully). It looks like a competent game but I think Respawn would have been better served making a Mandalorian tie in FPS game, basically Titanfall 2 in Star Wars lore.
Hey, dumbass, not you, lash you already get a percentage cut if your games perform well. Needless to say, EA games probably perform well ... just maybe.
Just talking based on the studio's expertise being FPS and while this game looks alright it doesn't look exceptional in its melee combat or anything either.I'm waiting for a long time for a worthy Jedi Knight successor. About the mandalorian: The newest Trailer looked okay, not bad, not great. Hard to judge the show on that tbh, but after "Solo" and "Rogue One" I'm rather sceptical about SW Spinn Offs.
Another problem is: Disney+ isn't starting world wide. I believe it's just the U.S., Canada, Netherlands, GB, Australia & New Zealand. The rest of the world would have a tie in to a show that nobody is able to watch. Maybe not the best idea.
Valve paying for games would be pretty big change, because GabeN has been adamant before that they won't moneyhat or fund exclusives (with SteamVR at least)Urgh that Mike Rose guy, seriously just cos you cheerlewd for Epic and they money hat doesn't mean Steam money hats too. I highly doubt any money changed hands over this, though I would not be surprised if adjustments to the 30/70 cut weren't made. Perhaps EA gets 20% right off the bat? I mean, it's almost guaranteed most of their games would meet the threshold anyway, why beat around the bush? Also, I think this has a LOT more to do with Destiny 2's success on Steam than anything else. According to their investor's call, they'll be pushing Apex Legends hard going forward. And I'm not exactly sure they'd want it sitting alongside its biggest competitor on the EGS.Valve paying for games would be pretty big change, because GabeN has been adamant before that they won't moneyhat or fund exclusives (with SteamVR at least)
It would be glorious, and I imagine that Respawn it's a really interesting partner for valve with all their knowledge with the engineOH SHIT! What if Respawn has access to Source 2 now?

The bad guy in Inquisition main game was introduced in DA2's DLC "Legacy" and two of Inquisition's companions are from the second game: Varric and Cassandra (Varric is actually a companion in 2 as well, so he has more story). Is Inquisition worth playing if I skipped 2?
May grab catalyst just to show I want more ME games
Yeah, people shit on Dragon Age 2 all the time, but I find the game deserves a better reception. Origins is still my favorite Dragon Age though. The bad guy in Inquisition main game was introduced in DA2's DLC "Legacy" and two of Inquisition's companions are from the second game: Varric and Cassandra (Varric is actually a companion in 2 as well, so he has more story).
Oh, and there's a cameo from Hawke in Inquisition.
Is it worth playing without 2? I don't know, but I guess so? A lot of people did.
Personally I found Inquisition to be the weakest Dragon Age game. The main story is boring, the gameplay is a lite-MMORPG with a terrible camera and it's full of fetch quests. The companions are good at least.
Dragon Age 2 has you exploring different iterations of the same cavern / dungeon / city street, but I didn't find it boring. It's possibly my favourite Dragon Age game.
