In my continued effort to build my own tools with the help of GenAI. I made a social media client for linux that I wanted to have on the second screen. Not only is it a mastodon/bluesky client, but I added so I can browse metacouncil from it too AND added full support for my blog, so I can make/change/delete posts directly from the client lol.

Surely there are cheaper backup solutions. if you already have the unlimited plan then use it but i would not get proton drive just for backup.

The unlimited plan is worth it for the mail, password manager and VPN. Drive is a bonus in that scenario, but probably Proton's weakest product.
