4k in Russia? MS is usually good with regional pricing on Steam, but this one is exception, hope they'll change it to the usual for AAA 1999.

A question: the only game I played in the Gears series (and it was just a bit, and not until completion) was the first one.

For someone that clearly missed out on the previous story content, how "newbie" friendly is the game? Would I be able to start playing, and catch up?
And, how usually are these games, in terms of SP content? Does it justify the price?

I can't say for GoW4, but while 1-3 have a bit of connection between them, the story of each game is pretty much self-contained, there're some details that you might miss, but it's a gameplay oriented experience, so this is not catastrophic situation. As far as SP content goes I think it was worth of the asking price, the series is one of the best TPS' out there.

Does anyone know if Microsoft usually sells pre-order bonuses later on?

I was planning to pre-order Gears 5, but due to some unexpected expenses I'll probably skip it, and I'm hoping the Terminator skins may be available later.

I dont think MS has said anything about the DLC being available later on. But If you play the game with gamepass in the first week you'll get the DLC as well. No idea if you do this will it cross over to the Steam version if you pick it up later. But It could be worth a shot?

I'm on Windows 7, so I can't use gamepass...
