Thanks jads653. I still haven't figured out how you were able to gift the game tbh. I thought the rule was that you needed to be on the friends list for 3 days and of course, cross region gifting isn't allowed. How did you manage it?

They changed it recently. Although the sending through email part does not seem to work correctly yet.
