Gris is a hopeful young girl lost in her own world, dealing with a painful experience in her life. Her journey through sorrow is manifested in her dress, which grants new abilities to better navigate her faded reality. As the story unfolds, Gris will grow emotionally and see her world in a different way, revealing new paths to explore using her new abilities. GRIS is a serene and evocative experience, free of danger, frustration or death. Players will explore a meticulously designed world brought to life with delicate art, detailed animation, and an elegant original score. Through the game light puzzles, platforming sequences, and optional skill-based challenges will reveal themselves as more of Gris’s world becomes accessible.

I have a bad tendency to buy artsy games like these on looks alone and then end up not liking the gameplay. I think I'll wait for some more gameplay videos to see if it's more platforming or metroidvania style.

Need more gameplay as well. Looks great but that doesn't translate to a fun game at times.

May be a weird thought, but I feel that sometimes a games art direction can dictate how it plays, which sometimes lead to unfulfilling gameplay.

From what I've read, the artist behind this is one of the biggest illustrator in Spain.

Gris seems to fill all the important aspects to have me instantly enamoured since I first laid eyes on it. It looks absolutely stunning with a really catchy artstyle, it has a captivating sound background and from the gameplay videos it also appears to be fun to play.
It's one of those few must buy on release for me.
