Update:
Crytek have confirmed the game's release for August 27, exactly seven days after the predicted date. All other details seem correct.
Hunt for PC and Xbox will launch on August 27th, 2019 for 39.99 EUR/USD. Meanwhile, PlayStation players will be seeing their own full release of the online game this Fall. In addition to this digital release, we will be partnering with Koch Media to bring the retail version of Hunt to stores worldwide.
“Joining forces with Crytek for this amazing multiplayer game is exciting for everybody in the Koch Media family,” said Koch Media’s Head of Marketing Stephan Schmidt. “The proven track record of the team in the FPS genre and the unique approach to multiplayer gaming gives us confidence that Hunt not only fits perfectly in our broad line up, but also serves a strong need in the market for fresh ideas. The close cooperation of the team with the community ever since the first release fuel the motivation of our global Koch Media teams, and we will support this title with all our experience in the retail market.”
Original OT:
Crytek will release Hunt: Showdown for Xbox One and PC on August 20 for $39.99 / €39.99, and for PlayStation 4 this fall. In addition to the digital release, Crytek is partnering with Koch Media to release a physical edition at retailers worldwide.
Hunt: Showdown launches August 20 for Xbox One and PC, this fall for PS4 - Gematsu

It's unclear where Gematsu obtained this information and Crytek have been silent, but I don't see any reason to doubt it. The game was originally meant to leave Early Access after a year and it's been just over a year now. The Xbox Game Preview release has been somewhat well received, looking at MS Store reviews, but how it will fare with a larger audience at a higher price point and without the shield of "It's in early access, bro" remains to be seen. It's good to hear the PS4 version is coming, because a lot of people have been interested in the game, but they don't have an Xbox. And they'll benefit from the early access tuning the game has received on Xbox, particularly with controls.

Crytek have released a trailer showing the female hunters and more diverse monsters coming in version 1.0. I particularly like the clever H turning into XX symbolism.
