So which ones of you are MetaHumans?

Dunno about MetaHumans but if you look in the music thread there's a lot of Metal Humans here. 🤘

Apex Legends reached a new peak of 196k 6 hours ago. EA must be happy. Well, EA must be happy overall with how their games are performing on Steam.

Im fairly sure the only reason EA is on EGS is because of Disney as it is only Star Wars games they have released there so far.

There's honestly no reason not to release on EGS as there's no reason not to release on all platforms, EA wants to expand like everyone else.
Well, not everybody, Crash 4 is Bnet and Ubi hasn't returned yet :coffee-blob:
Give them time tho, but not everyone yet hehe.

What will come first. sub-10$ 13 Sentinels or PC version.
Sub 10$

From my famous SEGA picture line-up "best of japan vol2 Steam collection" the one that probably won't come is 13 Sentinels, so, if you want to get it on console, do it, cause' PC is not an easy to predict option in this case.

Should add SEGA to that list
Not really, they just opened TWW3 page, puyo 2 is coming soon and Yakuza 6 is coming in March, just because they got 2 exclusives (one was a complete disaster given the reviews and the other is one I can't understand) doesn't mean they abandoned the platform .

13 Sentinals is most likely not coming to PC any time soon. It'll be one of the first games I buy when I grab a PS5 in the future.

i was joking about sakura wars being Stadia/EGS exclusive and never ever releasing on steam

I remembered now that there was a single player autochess game on steam:

It's REALLY REALLY REALLY similar to underlords...like...literally ripped off?

I can't put down Factorio if I have any free time available.

Yesterday, my factory's highlight was definitely getting a train station to gather more iron ore up and running. It's such a rewarding experience having that (almost) infinite iron ore supply.

Today, after a lot of work, I managed to get a stable oil extraction and refinery system + train transportation to my base, resulting ultimately in me being able to use robots. Oh boy, this game keeps on delivering. IT'S SO GOOD!

However, the factory must still... GROWWWWWW

I wonder if the original Auto Chess will come to Steam in April/May? I think it'll be one year since it launched on EGS.

Auto Chess already launched? I wasn't even aware of this, didn't read or hear anything about it.

Any indications if anyone is actually playing it?

yup ... i'm the same with Dyson right now :P lol

re Breathedge: played the ea version some time ago, it had me laughing a lot, but being lost in space without a clear objective wasn't fun. If you enjoy crafting games, especially the exploration factor that these games have, then I'd 100% recommend it though.

This explains boring, crewcut white guy protags, and also sadden me greatly, though I dont quite get some of the British school references.

I liked Demo and i really hope that final product will deliver.

Maybe I'll finally stop seeing posts in my social media feeds about how I should pre order soon

Apparenrly SF5 season 5 leaks are out in the wild

Damn, Little Nightmares 2 ain't messing around. The first boss/enemy you run from has a
double-barreled shotgun!
:sweaty-blob:

Some of the animation seems to be running at 30 FPS even with the frame-rate unlocked. Very noticeable with the hunter.

Ahh... The age old questions.... Smelt on site at the ore extractors, or cart it back to a big smelter site at the main factory.

Also, refine oil on site, or transport the raw oil somewhere else for refinement. And also, do you transport it in barrels, or in the fluid wagon?
Personally, I don't think I've used barrels for years.

finished up the Medium last night. Great game, not so great performance in the dual world scenes.
Only played it at night. Is there something wrong with me that horror games give me a comfy feeling?

btw, I sent some more friends invites to people on Steam, you can recognize me by my *** name. :P

I've been playing Fallout 4 FROST lately, and wow, it's such a totally different experience than the base game.

Throw everything you know about Fallout 4 because it's an entirely new game in itself. It's set just 5 years after the bombs fell, so it's basically still in the nuclear winter state. The air is still toxic, so you need to wear a gask mask or any other appropriate protection while outside. It's mostly safe when inside a building or underground though. There's also no civilization yet, the towns we know in the base game are not a thing yet. There's no story from the base game, every NPC and quest has been removed. There's only one main quest you received at the beginning, which is to survive. But it doesn't mean that there's no story in FROST, there's a story but it's not handed to you. You have to find it, whether from notes you can find here and there, or from NPC chatters and so on. More or less like the Souls series.

Everyone, including you, is a "survivor" and most of them will either shoot you on sight or at least give you some warning first. There's only a few traders who buy and sell at outrageous rates, because everything is scarce. Ammos are super rare, you'll be forced to use melee weapon lots of times to conserve ammos. The mod encourages you to not get attached to a weapon as you'll run out of ammo soon and forced to use another weapon with different ammo. Some enemies are tweaked, like the ghouls that have super armor on everything but their head. Sounds hardcore, but they're manageable with a melee weapon as you can block their attack and counter with a slash to the head. One swing will usually do the job done. The animals aren't all fully mutated yet. There are still dogs and wolves, as well as cows, mutcrabs and huge rats. Yao Guai is still a bear, but still half mutated, etc. Overall, the combat is mostly deadly. You'll be dead in a shot or two, and it's the same for most enemies too.

There's this new thing that makes it more interesting, the sanity system. You start with 100 sanity, but every time you kill a survivor, eat uncooked food, taking jet, etc, you'll lose 2 sanity. Killing a child will net you -10 in sanity. If you hit 0 or lower sanity, you'll go insane which leads to some pros and cons. There are sanity restoring item (mostly food) so it's best to keep an eye for them if you want to stay sane. There's also some perks that make use of the sanity system, like if you stay 90% or more sane you'll deal 15% more damage. The sanity system also adds a lot to my role-playing experience, it made me think before killing a group of survivor who are just chilling in a small hut. Do I kill them for the loot or should I just let them be? They're just like me, trying to survive in this world.

All these systems are so well integrated so it creates an entirely new gameplay loop and experience. You need to be careful of your surrounding at all times, because getting ganked by a small group will be the end of you. You don't have to kill everything you need, sometimes it's best to avoid the enemies you encounter. Finding a bed and/or a workbench is like finding a bonfire, a huge relief in this unforgiving environment. It's advised to play in survival mode but I find it too overwhelming, so I tinker the rest/hunger/thirst rates with another mod so I don't have to constantly thinking about them. I also use another mod so that I can save in a bed without sleeping instead of having to sleep first to save.

Overall, it's such an immersive and mesmerizing experience.
