ohh , how in hell i missed Code Mirai being backported to PC :face-with-open-mouth:

Hi everyone.

We are excited to announce that Project Nimbus : Complete Edition is coming to PC for FREE, for everyone who already owns the original PC version!

Project Nimbus : Complete Edition is the UE4 version of Project Nimbus, based on the original version by the talented GameCrafterTeam. In order to release Project Nimbus on consoles, we the Tokyo based developer/publisher GameTomo have recreated the game in UE4.
The 3D models and game design from the original version have been taken over for the most part, but the UI and visual effects have been recreated. Furthermore, the textures have been remastered in 4K. A new mode and new playable mechs are also included, in order to improve the game's replayability.
Project Nimbus: Complete Edition :: Project Nimbus : Complete Edition is coming to PC!

new game published by GMG coming in Q3 2019
Skybolt Zack delivers a unique gaming experience - all the fun and excitement of an arcade platformer married with the feel of a Japanese rhythm game. Ditching the pixel perfect precision of traditional platformers, Skybolt Zack introduces new mechanics that are equally challenging but fresh and exciting. Players will have their dexterity and quick thinking tested in equal measure. Reacting to the enemies on screen, players must Dash and Rocket Punching and Charge Attack their way from enemy to enemy by colour matching the buttons on the gamepad to the enemies on screen before bouncing off of them to reach new heights. The higher the player climbs, the more difficult the game gets, but the more rewarding it becomes...

New thread! Here's to a lovely July for all! \o/

As for me I've been considering uninstalling R6 Siege all freakin' day just to see if I can get different games done instead. I'm so far off my 36-games for the year goal, and I'm pretty sure I can't make it even if I turn this ship around right now but.. bleh.

I got Episode Ardyn from the Summer Sale so I wanna play FFXV and complete it on PC for the first time (a full completionist run at that), but I bang my head against the wall there. The game looks amazing downsampled from 125% of 4K, no jaggies, and the hair dithering is completely gone for the characters. The 4K texture pack looks crisp and really stands out. ... however it of course is not playable even at 30FPS when downsampling from 125% of 4K. Currently I have to settle for 30FPS and 1800p, and even that gets iffy sometimes... So while I do wanna play FFXV I also always think maybe I should wait for a GPU upgrade so I can play it downsampled beginning to end.

Also during the Summer sale I got TW: Three Kingdoms and it's also quite hard to run at 4K. Even if I lower resolution scale to 80%. Maybe my 1080ti is finally showing it's age, but man, a 2080ti just isn't worth it. It's less than 2TFLOP gain! >_<

As always I don't know if I congratulate lashman for the nice thread or curse him for making me want so many games...

Also... I'm a little worried about doing the retro challenge... the game is probably a lot more clunky than I remember.

I know its a tie in but I hope Stranger Things 3 The Game is good. The free mobile game they made for Season 2 by the same devs was a fun little game so id definitely pick 3 up if its like that.

I know it seems to be waifus and waifus, but does anyone tried Neoverse ?
How does it rank as a Slay the spire clone?
Late by an entire new thread, but I have played about 20 hours of it and it holds up fine as a deck builder style game. They had a big patch a few weeks ago that overhauled a lot of stuff and another mid-sized one recently that added some more card traits. I've actually not played a done of PC card games, including Slay the Spire, so can't directly compare unfortunately. The English translation is definitely strange at times but I don't think I ever had trouble understanding any rules, The waifu-ness only goes as far as your character actually, all the cards and enemies are just "normal" sci-fi/fantasy hybrid nonsense :p

Edit: The new "bikini" costume in the banner is from the mid-sized patch, they are adding in alternate costumes for beating the challenge mode on certain difficulties with the characters. The banner was much more subtle before ~

I have nothing positive to say, insomnia and loneliness, and my buddy depression wouldn’t allow it, but I wanted to be on the first page. For science.
I guess I could add that I really should play some CRPG like Bloodlines, Original Sin, Underrail etc. But that would get in the way of a replay of FF14.

And it’s not even an issue, because Grim Dawn is so huge I will have kids before I see the credits.

...still, yeah, some CRPG... tempting...

This isn't my picture, I found it on Era.

But I can't be happy at this news at all! My soul is screaming "NOOOOOOOOOO~"

Because it's probably gonna break all the community mods and engine tweaks that the FF modding community has done already to make the PC version great. Personally I am using:

And I would die if it gets broken as a result of patching. Square... pls no. 🙏

The only reason that I'm not playing FF14 right now, is the summer heat is exasperating the airflow issues on my current PC case. Gonna start REALLY playing it with my Zen 2 upgrade, when I get a better airflow case... Cooler Master H500, here I come!

It's a bit more effort but you can disable auto updating for it in Steam and then launch it through the EXE instead of the Steam "play" button

Just did that. I thought it would auto-update regardless though, when I launch it. Cuz I've launched other games via their .exe and they still usually bring up a little steam box with spinny wheel for a second... o_O
