It took me 200 hours to beat that game, it maybe would have taken me even longer but I decided to just be done with it already.

DQVII took me something like 170 hours to beat on the 3DS (I have not even done post game stuff in that game) and it says average time is 73 hours for that game.

DQIV is something like 33 hours but it ended up taking me over 80 hours to beat (including post game)

With DQB2 I think it took me over 130 hours to beat but it says that it takes people around 70 hours to beat.

Now you have it stuck in your head as well.

RIP AVICII

I think this year alone I have finished something close to 10 games, which for me is very impressive. Years ago I would finish games left and right but now I am lucky if that is even the case any more

I cannot find the package ID on the store page.

TLOU 2 is super great 3 hours in. Loving it. As someone who loves narrative and story driven games this is my jam.

He died earlier than expected, now Im looking forward to killing the cunts who were part of his murder

Okay so I played Titanfall 2 (multiplayer) and..... it may just not be for me.

The main thing that I like in my games in simplicity. The added a lot of stuff in TF2 compared to the original in multiplayer mode. Some of which is cool and other stuff is sort of questionable I guess.

Weapons were balanced out and stuff like that? They also made certain meta changes I guess.

Before you would be able to carry your momentum in your titan by punching after boosting but that no longer seems to be the case.

The new Titans look okay but I would have liked to have ATLAS back, or maybe one of the new ones is similar to ATLAS.

I like how they kept some of the maps from the first game, they pretty much seemed to be the same.

I just skimmed through the game so there likely is a lot that I missed.

I am guessing that you can make "builds" that are similar to what you would get in TF1.

It just seemed weird to me that some parts of the game that were default in the last game were now something that you either had to unlock or that was a add on. You want to hang on walls and shoot, well you have to give something up to be able to do that.

The rope thing is pretty cool and I do like it.

For some reason on controller your 3 weapons are all tied to the same button..... why???

From what I recall before you would call it out with your Dpad.

Also before you would get your titan a lot sooner from what I recall in the past game

One of the good things is that my PC did not freeze so there is hope that APEX will also not freeze and I will finally be able to jump back into that game.

Simplicity is what I like in my games, especially in FPS games. Stuff like Team Fortress 2 and CSGO are pretty simple as far as FPS games go and I like them, there is a lot more to the game, but at their very core you have 2 guns and you shoot, you can get grenades and stuff to help as well, but when playing casually they don't ruin the game if you don't know how to use them.

Simplicity is also why I like SWBF1 instead of SWBF2 that every one seems to love and that is because of simplicity

Damn, that global best seller list is something to behold.

And shows that for a huge amount of people, it's not just another launcher.

This is top 20 and it sure looks like something anyone would believe, let's say, 3 years ago. :coffee-blob::cat-heart-blob::coffee-blob:

Tag update (for developers).

Tags provide valuable information
Steam users want to quickly learn about your game when browsing the store, and tags are a great tool to help them do so. Tagging your title gives Steam vital information in determining where your game is displayed to customers. We recently began requiring at least 5 tags be applied to a title before its launch on Steam.

Aside from displaying useful information on the game pages themselves, tags provide valuable information when paired with powerful search and browse tools that make them accessible.

More robust tags help Steam serve better results when users:
  • Browse genres & categories
  • Search with tags
  • Explore tag-driven recommendations
  • Utilize tag-driven Dynamic Collections in the Library and more

In our recent Search experiment, we have expressed and begun to leverage relationships between tags and related metadata. So now is a great time to revisit the tags associated with your titles.

Introducing the Tag Wizard
The new Steamworks Tag Wizard, now in Beta for all Steamworks users, is designed to further improve the coverage and quality of tag information as applied across the catalog, thus making Steam’s discovery and recommendation systems more robust.

An initial analysis of the tags currently applied across the catalog shows a common failure to apply genre and sub-genre tags to titles – a level of specificity customers seek when shopping. In the new wizard, we’ve introduced a proposed hierarchy of genres and other tag classifications.

The Tag Wizard steps a Steamworks user through a series of screens designed to quickly capture a breadth of tags relevant to their title, across a set of increasingly specific categories: Top-Level Genres, Genres, Sub-Genres, Visuals & View Points, Themes & Moods, Features, Players and more. The wizard leverages the information entered thus far, comparing it to similarly tagged titles in our catalog, and highlights those which are most likely relevant in each subsequent step.

The Tag Wizard also suggests any tags discovered in your title’s store page description - another common omission we discovered upon analysis of the catalog. Additionally, any tags your users have applied in the Store are also suggested for your consideration. Lastly, the wizard enables ranking of the relative importance of a game’s tags for the purposes of weighting them, which is information that Steam leverages in various places like Search and More Like This recommendations.

If a title already has tags applied, the user of the Tag Wizard may discover which types of tags may be missing from their title’s tag profile, verify and rank existing tags, and step through a series of screens to improve it.

[UWSL]We've updated the Tag Wizard[/UWSL] based on feedback from an initial set of Beta testers.

Maybe they're going to send you a letter with the key.

or maybe they need one to confirm you live in country you claimed for legal purposes.

(Long long ago I may have just taken google maps to legal country and dropped streetview guy somewhere and copied resulting address and they just sent key as reply).

We need to validate and store winner information to comply with state and international laws.

As long as they do not ask for your a copy of your ID card, you don't risk much providing them whatever information.

Unrelated, it is crafting time:

And the price of the DC Hook has crashed because of the Dota 2 battle pass:

No, need to further give people more anti steam narratives. It's fine as it is.

I was today years old when I learned that you could simply hold "DEL" or "F2" to reach the bios while re/booting instead of hammering the keys like a madman.

Lol you would think that works every time. Totally doesn't. Damn things seem to have minds of their own.

Why the Metacritic score for The Last of Us 2 is so low?
