I've been away one afternoon and E3recap is doing a cosplay of my steam backlog.

Nah, it was only a good show. Looks like MS lost the touch they had in the pre-kinect era. Or maybe it’s just rose tinted glasses.
And while LAD was cool and a whole bunch of stuff is coming to gamepass, they didn’t feel the need to make some waves with several shadow drops.
That being said, Forza Horizon 5 looked great.

Dude, we know it's coming but no one ever hinted at when it's coming, as far as I'm aware. You need to be patient.
Setting all your expectations on a specific time is never going to go well. The writing was on the wall the closer we got to the show without any kind of leak or hint.

I pretty much guessed this would happen.
I understand that you want to play that specific game, so my advice might fall on deaf ears, but why not channel that energy towards other games? God knows there's a million jrpg and/or visual novels on pc right now, so lack of choice isn't really an issue.
The reality of being a pc gamer, especially if you want/like japanese stuff, is that you'll be shit on constantly. Less nowadays compared to 3 years ago or so but still you are an afterthought to those devs/pubs.
And if you really really really must play persona5 then, like others have already said, emulation is an easy and safe option. You get what you want now and in a couple of years, if the game releases at all, you can get your legit copy to relieve any stress or guilt you might have.
Very happy with what was shown of STALKER 2 and FH5 looked amazing as well.
Never liked Halo's multiplayer so that's irrelevant to me, but I always liked the SP of Halo games, so will play Infinite for sure.
Not digging Arkane's new game. Has those "cringe" vibes all over it. I much prefer serious characters than wacky le random ones.
Obsidian is dead to me for some time now, so that's a whatever on TOW2.
AoE4 animations still need work. Too janky.
Eagerly awaiting Starfield but the trailer itself was lackluster and did nothing to me. Good to know when it (supposedly) comes out, though.
Now waiting for PCGS where I hope to see Disciples Liberation, Naraka and with a bit of luck P5R (I'm not hopeful tho).

i set my expectations at E3 because i don't see any other events they can reveal a thing like this
what, are they just gonna tweet it randomly one day? what major events other than E3 are xbox and atlus participating in, in which there exists a worldwide audience normally fit for a game pass announcement?

The Steam version of STALKER 2 will have some exclusive content, but it'll be mostly stuff from the Points Shop.

Yeah atlus wasnt on the list last year and they revealed Persona 4 there anyway. Doesn't mean anything.
The real question of the Sea of Thieves content is: will you be able to play the Pirates of the caribbean theme in game?

Atlus was listed as one of the participants in the 2020 show. They aren't listed as a participant in this year's show. That's not to say Persona 5 won't happen, but I wouldn't get my hopes up.
Redfall is probably the most disappointed I've ever been in a game. I LOVE Arkane. Prey, Dishonored 1, and Dishonored 2 are in my top 10 (Prey is actually my 2nd most favorite game of all time). Hearing Arkane was making a vampire game had me SO hyped. But their vampire game is a co-op focused shooter that looks like Overwatch + Left 4 Dead 
And here I expected something akin to Bloodlines...

It's a perfect encapsulation of Outer Worlds lame humour. I liked the trailer, it tells you what to expect on the writing front.
This is why you should take what insiders say with a pinch of salt.
Trust me, I want P5R on PC too. The series is my favourite, and P5R is a work of art that I want to play again, but until it's officially announced or there's some solid leaks (like screenshots or video) you need to operate under the assumption that it does not exist.
This is the only way you're gonna have a healthy perspective about this.

I fully expect Starfield to be a disappointment (to me), but that's how I've felt about every one of their releases after Morrowind. Bethesda's vision for Fallout especially. Maybe a new IP will spark some change though?
I was hoping to see Avowed again, but I suspect that's still early in development.

yup same, megaten is also my fav franchise but I've seen enough of atlus to not really expect anything until confirmed.
They were on the list last year actually, but P4G port leaked (as in with actual evidence that made it 100% obvious) like 2 weeks before the event, so there's no telling if they wanted to be listed from the start or if it was supposed to be a surprise but they dropped it once it got leaked.
Like I wrote here earlier today, don't go into E3 with positive expecations, don't have hope for anything. Sounds sad, I know, but it is for the best imo.
Personally I liked the MS showcase, it was well-paced, lots of games, but 7/10 from me due to lack of gameplay and megatons.
