Thanks to PossiblyPudding, I'm playing Neon Abyss as well. I'm enjoying it so far, but after beating the 3rd manager, I can't select another manager and I need 20 special badges first. I really hope this doesn't mean the game is turning into a grind...
nope, it doesn't :) those just unlock more stuff in the game :D (really cool stuff too)

and yeah - PossiblyPudding streams have that effect, haha :D

Just finished this game and enjoyed it a lot. Solid shooter mechanics and a gorgeous visual style makes for a fun time. Team Ladybug is 3 for 3.

Also some sales figure information:

Looks like an anime Rimworld. I added it to the void known as my wishlist.

You probably have seen those purple doors or chests. If you shoot on these purple door or chests, they will turn red. Open enough of these purple or red doors/chests then a room will appear on the level. Go to that room and get the item from there, there is a chance that a token appears. When you have this token, you will then unlock a new stage after beating Zeus.
You can now face the new manager depending on which token you have taken. You can only have one token

So pleased to see so many people in this thread supporting the Project Diva Steam release. I purchased it myself (I mean, of course they would do a PC port a few months after I caved and bought the full Future Tone package on PSN), and have really enjoyed it.

That said, for a thread in which anime is Explicitly Not Allowed, there sure seem to be a lot of people who love anime.:coffee-blob:

So there are more UMPC that are going to be released in the future and while they may end up being smaller and more powerful compared to the Steam Deck it seems that they may run across the issue of battery life. So while I Steam Deck can get you 1.5-8 hours of gameplay depending on the game and settings that you are using using, it seems that some stuff will have half of the battery capacity of the Steam Deck and you should take into consideration that a lot of the OS stuff also helps out the battery, which may not be the case with these other UMPC since they use Windows and it's a lot easier to change things on the fly for the Steam Deck and have it be a per game setting.

After spending an entire month playing basically nothing but Street Fighter V ranked matches, holy fuck this Miku game is just what I needed. It's so relaxing and fun. No need to berate myself because I missed that anti-air or get angry because that fucking asshole didn't deserve that win! He totally did.

It's kind of weird that they didn't change the icons in the Miku game, it's just the playstation symbols from what I saw? Unless there are options for like xbox buttons and such. That would be cool.

Anyway, countdown to someone modding it in a way that it's possible to take pantyshots of Miku? Or maybe that has already happened. :grinning-face:

You have options for several button types.

Man MegaMix+ is basically perfect on Steam Deck, especially with those grip buttons.
By the way I did hear that they removed two features that they added for the switch but with the Steam Deck those features would work. It's a shame that they will likely not add them onto the game now.

Finished Disco Elysium. Overall i liked it but i can't say that i agree with amount of praise it is getting. Writing is really good and gameplay is fine for basically text adventure but i can't say that i liked ending and how certain choices in game played out.
The rest of the game is great but the ending sucks. It's literally the worst way to end a whodunit.

I just remembered that they were working on a novel that was set in the same universe as the game. It was meant to come out some months after the game but then covid happened and I have no idea what happened to it after that. Does anyone know?

Finally rolled credits in Eiyuden Rising. What a fun and light game. There's hard mode bosses and post game quests to complete, but I'm not in any rush for those.

Also got into the Android beta for the new Marvel Snap game (made by ex-Hearthstone devs). Games are super quick and decently fun so far, though I'm probably still in the phase where you're guaranteed to have a good time, but I'm having a good time. So its working lol

So, just beat Halo 4 today, and that was the last game in the MCC.

Having played it all, I gotta say, Halo is .. ok? The series doesn't seem particularly great, and even the best game, which I would say was Halo 2, still falls short of the great shooters from the 90s, like the Doom series, Hexen, and many other games. The most influential thing, from I understand, is the inclusion of online multiplayer in Halo 2 and spreading its popularity on consoles. And many of the design principles of console shooter were already there in the first Halo game, so I understand why the series is so revered. It's just that I don't think those design principles are very good. Linear hallways, lots of repetitions, lots of "press x to continue game" and so forth. The last level of Halo 4 couldn't be more linear and boring and easily feels like something you'd also find in a Call of Duty game.

The music is pretty good, when the games actually allow you to listen to it properly, which is rare. The overall plot is pretty boring. Some new threat to the galaxy comes out of nowhere, and only the Chief can stop it, yadda yadda. The only mix to the formula is Halo 2, where they put a cliffhanger in the middle of it and wait until Halo 3 to "finish the fight". Must have pissed lots of people of, I guess.

The games are still neat, even if many of the levels overstay their welcome and make you wish the game would end a couple of hours sooner. Wonder if Microsoft will ever bother with Halo 5. The game seems boring, but it seems important from the story from what I understand. Something about Cortana coming back and wanting to take over the galaxy now? 344 seems pretty obsessed with Cortana in their games.

Love it when games give you the choice of what icons you want, independent of the controller plugged in. Should be standard.
This, very few games let you change icons UI. I usually play with DualShock 4 on PC and it's a pain to play with XBOX controller screen prompt, specially on QTE levels. Really this should be standard.

Not Steam related but I did something today. I gently moved house to next door from where I was living a little bit ago to expand our B&B. We finally went live today with our 2nd B&B room and I'm equally excited and stressed.
I been emptying the bank balance at a shocking rate over the last few months getting ready for this and need to fill the hole.

That would be nice.

And before any excuses: Acti could simply not have put that artwork in there. Someone had to go into Steams backend and put it in there.
2 days after reveal, to be more precise.

Thing is:
-Will Activision come back with past COD games + Crash 4 and Tony Hawk?

At a personal level:
-Do I rellly want to support them? tbh, at this moment, I don't think I want.

And today i finished Headlander. It was ok platformer with interesting mechanic. I would prefer more puzzles that require body swapping mechanic than combat but it is what it is. And boy does Headlander drains battery from Steam Deck XD Also Headlander had some internal framerate lock so i could only run it at 30 or 60FPS so custom framerate option on Deck was useless.

For my next game i downloaded ReCore and it runs surprisingly great on Steam Deck. We will see how things will go when more combat intesive scenarios hit.
