I... I'm thinking of playing Dragon Age 2 :confused-face:
The initial critical reception turned me off of it to this day, and to top it off now I forgot nearly everything about DAO and its xpac. Don't know where the hell I left my save rot, too.
...
But if I get two EA months for the price of one... might as well.

Disclaimer : this post is probably misleading, user will not receive two months, because the Humble Monthly purchase he did some time ago and feared would return to bite him in the ass... returned and bite him in the ass. The payment was rejected by his bank and now he owes Paypal. Which he is pretty certain will block him from doing any Paypal purchase.
Life always finds a way to the user's ass.

Why? Supposedly existing stuff won't be affected.

It will still affect buyers and prices they are willing to pay.

People are panic selling and bringing prices down. Down about 100€ to about 75€ ish of profit.

Having tons of cheap items really makes big difference even with few cent drop.

It can recover, but might never reach target price. At least it will take longer.

These Dota 2 reactions are why I haven't played the game since 2015. The game was literally raising my blood pressure. I had to stop playing for my own health.

I'll have to try this out to see what exactly it means.

If it's flexible enough it would be nice to have especially for e.g. gamepass games that you can't easily use any non-driver-level tools on.

And the price could be a lot worse.
The Deluxe Edition of STAR WARS Jedi: Fallen Order is less than Atelier Ryza's Deluxe Edition.

Holy shit! I was wondering just yesterday if EA would bring EA Access also, because why not, it should work on Steam games the audience it would bring is well worth the eventual 30%. And then I wondered why doesn't Steam have rentals? Too much confusion and too many wheels in motion behind the scenes maybe?

Titanfall 2 and the upcoming Command and Conquer Remasters are all i Need tbh
EA plans to follow up Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order’s release on Steam with other recently released games from its catalog, including The Sims 4, Unravel 2, Apex Legends, FIFA 20, and Battlefield V.

With any hope this means the "recent but not that recent" stuff is also coming

I'll play Jedi and NfS through Premier because why waste perfectly good 15€. But maaaan, bringing out the big gun right away? Legit shaken. Makes sense to start with the game with the most goodwill though.

TBH, I think Ubisoft will be back on Steam after the 1 year co-exclusive thing is done with The Division 2.

I think they were hoping to leave Steam forever, but are now just trying to force Valve into changing their cut. I wouldn't be surprised to see Ubisoft continue saying that Steam's business model is outdated until the very last minute when they'll start selling The Division 2.

The partnership kicks off with Star Wars™ Jedi: Fallen Order launching on November 15—and available for pre-order today. In the coming months, players on Steam will also be able to play other major titles like The Sims™ 4 and Unravel Two. Multiplayer games—like Apex Legends™, FIFA 20, and Battlefield™ V—will become available next year, and players on both Origin and Steam will have the ability to play together.

So BFV and Anthem will come only next year, and that will be too late to save them I guess. Hopefully Sims 4 comes this next month still.
