So Uncharted is a bit weird, its Deck verified and I saw the reports of it running well there, but it didnt start for me on my Linux laptop, only with a command line alteration* it started, but then it ran very well.

You'd probably never hear many kids say this, but if I could go back in time and MAKE my parents lord over me when it came to brushing teeth I totally would. As a kid, they gave me too much freedom on that and I didn't take it serious. So as a young adult I have suffered for my dental sins. In this regard, I truly truly wish my parents were more strict on watching me, and I wish I hadn't been such a dumb kid.
Edit: Also, just nice to go back and see all the nice comments of support. Y'all are too damn nice in this community when the chips are down.

Bought Vampire Survivors, and I went to check the game. Result, played for 2.5 hours straight instead of doing my work.
For gaming only, it's not that bad. Limiting wattage seems to be the way to go for both systems really, gaming wise. And the new Intel pretty much takes the gaming crown on that one.

The latest trailer for FF16 finally made me realize why the visual style of the game bugs me so much. Everything is so damn dim! Even day time outdoor screenshots it looks like someone screwed up a HDR slider and made it half the brightness it should actually be. It makes everything look so drab and depressingly dark.

Of all the late ports to charge full price for, it's like the one case I have the least issue with. Plus, let's be real, they'd be stupid to charge anything less because it's going to sell like crazy regardless.

Can't really comment on whether or not P5 earns its length as it'll be my first time playing it but, if P3 and P4 are any indication, I don't expect I'll have any issues with it. Personally I'm far more excited to finally play it than I am for yet another REmake because so far the one thing Capcom have made abundantly clear is that they have no interest in going above and beyond to make these remakes the definitive editions of the games. I mean, don't get me wrong, I enjoyed the hell out of RE2 and RE3 but I feel like they were both disappointing in one way or another (RE3 admittedly much more so than RE2). I expect RE4 to be no different.

Out of all the announcements and trailers recently, the one I have most faith in is FF16. Not because of the trailers, but because of the core team behind it. It’s not so much that it is the FF14 core team but the Shadowbringers/Endwalker team. Just a shame that I will possibly have to wait an extra 6 to 12 months to play it (worst case scenario a final EGS deal as part of the other deals they made).
RE4 is looking great and being the same guy behind RE2 hopefully means we are getting more of a RE2 than an RE3. I just need to go back and finish those 2 games off.
However in some ways I do wish we got more of a hybrid remake of RE1 & RE2. Ie a more accurate remake to the levels but with the graphical overhaul and control system tweaks.
I hope they aren’t going to ignore Code Veronica. Out of all the RE games this is the one that would benefit the most from a complete overhaul. I have a soft spot for this game, since I had it on the Dreamcast, but it was always the roughest.

RE4 looked incredible and the (apparent) ability to parry and crouch and stealth as well as the knife becoming an actual mechanic instead of a novelty weapon seems like really cool additions to the game without ruining it. The story trailer showed quite a lot too and eased a lot of fears of content being cut.

Vampire Survivors has interesting lore on this fictional group of people called ‘Italians’, I guess that’s compelling enough for claiming GOTY
The knife is completely broken in RE4, maybe the strongest it's ever been, combined with a melee attack that's the way to deal with any basic enemy without wasting ammo.
But RE4R seems to be really good. Hope to see Ashley getting good playable sections.
On the other hand, THE NEW MERCHANT SUCKS.
