Yeah, was suppose to comment on that. Having received so many "new releases" mails the past 2 weeks it's insane. I wanna buy Echoes of the Wild, Bonfire Peaks, Severed Steel and a bunch of others, but there are also sales on games I own and I have yet to really touch Omori, Deathloop, Carto, Ender Lillies, Eastward, Orcs Must Die 3 and a bunch of others that I have installed. My curated backlog collection hasn't been reduced for many weeks.
I have no time for PS5, Switch or game pass (for that matter), need to focus on my Steam games.

I see that a lot of the Tales of games are on sale right now. I was thinking of grabbing a few. Any of them are NOT worth playing? For reference, I have only ever finished Symphonia (on the Gamecube like 15 years ago lol), which I remember liking quite a lot.
Welp. I tried to give Melty Blood: Type Lumina a shot during my lunch break.
Game is literally broken. PC version is in fucking shambles.
Trying to connect to a ranked match causes the program to crash. Trying to connect to a player match causes it to freeze. Backing out of certain network mode menus softlocks the game and requires an alt-f4. Game crashes when alt-tabbed in fullscreen. For people who got ranked mode to work, it's apparently region locked by your Steam download region (and for all I know, this could apply to player matches as well).
And here I thought Strive released in a rough state. Yeesh. Probably going to need to refund this until they get their shit together.

Amazon New World folks must be thanking themself for not going Amazon Launcher exclusive or EGS exclusive (if they had that thought) currently 753k playing now on Steam, so a new peak.
We know from the Jason Schreier article that some Amazon employees protested the notion of not going to Steam because not releasing a game on Steam is like not releasing a book on Amazon.

In GreedFall, if there is a check for say Charisma and it says 50%, what does that actually mean? Ive been in one dialogue many times now and it fails every time but at 50% it feels it would succeed as much as fail. I was thinking that maybe the outcome is hardcoded or something? Or I have to have higher charisma?

On a dumb whim, I purchased New World and have only put a bit of time in. It is okay so far. I need every game releasing in the next few months to take a number and queue up and release only one at a time please

Unmetal is alright. Played 30-40mins earlier. Quite a nice take on retro Metal Gear. Funny-ish so far.

Snakethesniper From what i've heard the Hot Wheels Game is pretty damned great apart from some of the potential MTX shenanigans. It's got plenty of content in the base version and as that's £17 from CDKeys some people are even considering getting a Season Pass. I know i'm tempted to get a cheap key for it.
Also UnMetal reminded me of the "Merry Gear Solid" games that The Podunkian did years and years ago.
