What do you mean? Is Ishin somehow related to the series overall but not Kenzan?
I thought they were both just what-if kinda deals.
Child prostituion theme.
Haruka is a child prostitute selling herself to make money to hire someone to murder the guy who killed her family, who eventually winds up living in Kiryu's house.
Even if it's a complaint vision they don't like to deal with it.

😬 eww...

Still dumb to skip the game over entirely, though. I mean, it's a remake. What better opportunity to cut out that storyline or at the very least rework it? They could also use an older version of the character or something.

Why would you do my girl Haruka like this.
Of all the games I've played.
Watching her grow up across all these games over the years...
You bastards.

I bet if the game ever gets remastered or remade this will be the case. But whatever SEGA does will be criticized.
For other reasons SEGA has bad memories with the changes made on the other games. Original yakuza 3 cuts on western release -hostess club management got axed- was very sad.
I know most of the AV idols appeared on that game. Except one or two all of them are real pornstars and it’s like an event for them to appear on the game. When they released the remaster most the girls contracts were expired and SEGA replaced them for other AV girls -which I recognize too- but it’s sad the other girls aren’t on the original western yakuza 3 release.

I think most likely the remaster is just a port of the PC version, so we're not getting the remaster because we already have it?
The game is region-locked here... And there's also the 30 fps lock. So it's a chance for them to update the game with this remaster, but I dout they will do it.

I'm convinced this release has this form because Nintendo, who owns the source code, imposed their own conditions and it was either that or nothing. Otherwise it makes no sense releasing this over the XBLA leaked build.
Seems like they mandated exclusive online play for Switch and as close to feature parity as possible otherwise

When do hear more about what's happening with Valve at TGS?
September 15 at Noon Japan time. Which in the US is at September 14 8:00PM PST.

So I'm not sure what time it will be in France but you can likely figure it out with what i told you.

By the way if also looks like they will have demos for upcoming games on the Steam Deck.

So far they have only officially announced 20 games, how ever the Steam Deck there will actually have more than 20 games installed on them. They will have multiple units available to use. For stuff like APEX it seems like it will only be installed on a select number of the Steam Decks there (seeing how it's an online multiplayer game attached to an account)

Also about the streamer zone, I'm guessing it's just a small area and one where on September 15 people that are there at the booth will be live streaming, and the days following will not be live streamed. Komodo likely already looked into people that are familiar with Steam and invited them.

The one thing that I'm curious about is pre-orders. As of Bitsummit, Komodo said that they sold out of their pre-orders for 2022 for Steam Deck in Japan. It seems like they have mentioned that if you pre-order now you will get it in later 2022 still. Is it possible that Valve ramped up production by a lot? Or I'm guessing that TGS will be used as a way to get more of a general idea of how people like the device there.

Komodo booth at Bitsummit was the size of a typical indie dev and it seemed like you could miss it, but this time the booth looks huge.

So going back to what you were mentioning it's around that time when we will see what the booth is like, how knows maybe Valve goes crazy and just decided to do a live broadcast of the booth and stream it on Steam and Twitch.

Did Gabe let Harada keep his Steam Deck after all?

By the way Ubi is going to Ubi.....

They chose to do a Feudal Japan setting

When instead they could have given us this but it's too late now.

Good luck Ubi

For those that are not sure about the similarities of the video that I shared they are of 19th century Japan. So after years of isolation, Japan basically opens up it's door (it's pretty much forced to after the US comes in with more power ships than them and threats to use those ships of they don't agree to trade with them)

So many awesome things announced for PC today.

Like a Dragon: Ishin
Rise of the Ronin
Octopath II (still need to play the first)
Triangle Strategy
Tekken 8
Judgment 1/2

That's just the stuff off the top of my head that I am interested in. :steam_pigblanket:

Technically it's not officially confirmed yet but we shall see at the RGG stream later
Sure, but if the ESRB rates it I think that's a pretty safe bet. I'll be excited to see the proper announcement tomorrow.

Kernel level anti cheat.. fuck off
Protecting single player game modes is necessary to hamper cheat development.

Haha, bye
To be fair, it's a 20 year old PS2 game. I'm more lenient with fps locks with super old games.
The PC version originally had a ton of other issues, FPS was the least of its problems.

Edit: Wait, I forgot the game does have a version that ran at 60fps already. In that case, it sucks for sure yeah.

Rise of Ronin looks really good but also a realistic game. Humans vs humans in an open world by the looks of it and no fantasy creatures like Nioh/souls.

I'm glad they are making it but I am definitely more hyped for Wo Long. Either way Team Ninja is on fire. They've been so busy even with the already forgotten Final Fantasy Origin.

That's not really on the graphical front that I'm scared.
I'm not sure if it's a legit game or a shallow thing to ride Apple moneyhat at the time.
Haha, I just wanted an excuse to post some Star Rail :face-with-stuck-out-tongue-and-winking-eye:

Very curious how the mobile landscape develops, because you have very "mobile" looking and feeling games and then also games that play and look like AAA console/PC games (and lots of things in between).
If you told me 2 years ago I'd be playing a mobile GAAS for 2 years and was actually looking forward to more of those, I'd laugh you out of the room, but here we are with me playing Genshin and looking forward to Star Rail, Zenless Zone Zero, Wuthering Waves,...

Though 2 years after Genshin it doesn't look like there is that much interest into AAA-mobile GAAS that is also available on console and PC. Most stuff is from Hoyoverse themselves, who are basically establishing a new market for their games :grimacing-face:
I guess in a way it makes sense, because the "Genshin model" may be extremely profitable, but its also far riskier and expensive to make and maintain. Easier to just make a bunch of PNGs and slap them on top of one of the established gameplay models and be done with it.
