Look, everyone needs to calm the fuck down. I saw this movie with the Muller stuff, ok? And I'll admit it, Trump saying he's going to release the transcript, not making me feel amazing about our chances, because believe me that whistleblower's report will NEVER see the light of fucking day with the current DOJ. I've seen Dems fumble over shit for the past three years and NO ONE is as good at snatching defeat from the jaws of victory as we've been.

Also, LOL at the 'Fire Extinguisher Smoker' thread on Era. Yup, Exhibit. FUCKING. A! That's why I left. Lots of miserable, insufferable, passive aggressive people who are either too fucking stupid, too blinded by their own superiority or just hypocritical fucks, to realize how easily they dehumanize certain groups of people while railing against the dehumanization of other groups of people. HOT TIP KIDS, you wanna look like your not some shallow, TOOWOKE, no skin in the game poser? Actually have a consistent moral fucking compass and grounded understanding of proportional response and reactions.

A customer wanted something from me yesterday afternoon and explicitly told me he's not in a hurry. Important is only that i get it done "Within the next 3 or 4 weeks".
Now the same person send me 3 increasingly pushy emails within the last 3 Hours about why i haven't gotten it done yet.

Like, Bro. Broski. Brohamastra. You literally told me it had a lot of time, why the fuck you throwin' a tantrum now.

Classic case of their higher ups giving them the squeeze. Very annoying situation, happens to me all of the time.
 
The Bernie or bust crowd are insufferable. Just left a subreddit after being cussed out, insulted, and downvoted to hell after explaining that it's a stupid idea to vote for trump if Bernie doesnt win, despite how crooked they may find the DNC. Truthfully, I feel even Bernie would agree with that sentiment.

I'll be voting for him in the primaries, but theres no reason for me to remain active in communities that brainwashed and toxic.

oh man, I feel like a dumbass. I went to a module from the bank I asked the credit card from (approved btw!) because I recieved an alert about me making a visit to another bank location I didnt visited and panicked thinking the worst about my account. It was a name mixup but it was supposed to say that I visited this module in particular.

but anyway. I saw the attendant minding his own business and started talking to him without taking a turn because I didnt see anyone else and I thought it was a quick question. But it turns out there was someone else in the line and I just skipped it. I apologized to the guy and he said there was no problemo but I still feel like an ass ;-;

The site I used to buy some imported drinks now has increased their catalog with plenty of sweets and snacks, mostly from Japan, Hungary and Germany. Obviously I don't have an idea what most of them taste but there's a real risk of me getting bankrupt by sheer curiosity

From their Germany catalog the ones that got my attention are Cavendish & Harvey drops jars (they have both mixed and tropical flavors), Nestle's Choclait Chips, Ritter Sport Caramel Mousse, Hanuta Wafers w/ Hazelnut Cream and Bahlsen First Class Milk Al Latte

If you have any brands / flavors recommendations I'd love to hear it. Their site is clunky and digging through their whole inventory would be a pain in the ass so knowing what to search for would help a lot

I have, legitimately, no idea what cavendish & Harvey drops jares are.

Chocolate Chips are great, highly recommended, chocolate crossies as well, especially the dark sort:

I put a request for Prinzenrolle and Toffifee as I couldn't find these, otherwise I added Knoppers (milk & hazelnut), chocolate crossies and the Bahlsen you posted. I also not much into cocoa, but I found another Ritter Sport, Macadamia, instantly added that one too.

We get some flavors of Ritter Sport in our Supermarkets in the US and there are some speciality stores that sell the rest.

The one Ritter I went out of my way to get was the Dark Chocolate with Whole Hazelnuts one. It was..... mostly decent but a bit too sweet. I know that 50% caco is considered "dark chocolate" but I usually don't fuck with anything less than 70%. If Ritter sport had a 70% dark chocolate I could buy I'd be all over it.

Damn I haven't eaten Ritter Sport chocolate in like 15 years. I'll probably go and grab one later for pure nostalgia purpose.

Its Friday. Its Autumn. Its New Jersey. Riding off to spend time with a close friend of the opposite sex (long way of saying GF) all weekend. We're officially in that special two/three week zone of desired autumn weather. The crisp air, vibrant trees, cool nights and clear skies. It turns grey on Nov 5th and stays that way through Feb. Its smoke 'em if you've got 'em time before the stupidity of DST ends first Sunday of Nov and all is darkness.

I think I officially became an adult this week

Between my promotion, my basement flooding, taking in the bulk of my uncle's garbo for storage after his house was foreclosed on, and taking more control over the dire situation with my mentally ill mother and elderly grandmother - i have a lot on my plate, to say the least.

Family is fucked, but blood is thicker than water, etc.

Time to be a man

I need a new phone and the Google Pixel 4 is announced to day at 3PM, fingers crossed that i can order one later on or i'll just switch to SIM only on my current phone as i don't want an iPhone or Samsung Yawn at £20 extra a month thankyouverymuch.

Christ, inbetween work, studying and other shit I happened to glance at a couple of forums all around the web. I saw the same shit everywhere; fucking hypocrites who acknowledge they their fucking hypocrites and then justify why its ok for them. No. Acknowledge it, feel the shame and then shut. the. fuck. up.
 
Next week will be crunch week for me. Then I'll have a small break and be back to crunch. November is a tough month.

Well, I'm beyond pissed right now. My state just approved that medical personnel can deny treatment for LGBT people based on 'conscious objection'. I fucking hate this place!!

No. Christmas is legit one of my least favorite times of year as an adult. Third week of dec all I can think about is "ENDENDENDENDEND" all the while knowing that Christmas now extends past my birthday. (Jan 5th).

Halloween is celebration of the absurd, stupid fun, fall foods and chocolate. Nothing to dislike there.

Thank you all for being so level headed and thoughtful here at Metacouncil. Two places I used to frequent are full of posts hoping people get cancer, stalking threads, open bigoted language, dogpiles and unbelievable nastiness.

Maybe all of that shit is a feature, not a bug, of communities that grow to the size of large forums.

Anyway, keep up the good work everyone.
