Forgive me for being new to this thread posting lark, but going to have to start somewhere...

AMD has unveiled some official benchmarks for the Polaris refresh and the results seem quite impressive. Add in the accompanying three game bundle of Devil May Cry V, Resident Evil 2 and The Division 2 and for the princely sum of $279 you have quite a proposition for a 1080p Christmas present. The AMD Radeon RX 590 has a 1469 MHz base clock speed, with a 1545 MHz boost clock. This compares to 1257 MHz base and 1340 MHz boost clock for the RX 580.

We'll have to see how it compares to the 1070 in reality.
As ever official benchmarks are official and no idea on the temperatures and power draw.

Going to be an interesting lead up to the festive season though...

15% seems ... modest (to say the least)
Perhaps I'm easily pleased, but for a refresh of existing hardware and just to have something out 15% seems ok....also, pretty decent games bundle to go with it.

yeah, that's true ... at least there's that :)

i really wish they'd actually try to compete with nvidia, though ... would be nice
