The only problem is that i'm now hoping that i can WFH until December so i can be in when they're delivered... if Japan ships to the UK at the moment of course.

I've received two items from them so far so they do arrive, but about half a year after I ordered them.

I was just wondering if i had an extra few months of waiting to look forward to while my items sat on a shelf in a shipping office waiting for Japan ( or the UK for that matter ) to open back up for export/imports, lol.

I'll probably have to catchup on a VOD or Archive as Twitch gives me a 30 second nag-screen every 5 minutes or Ads all over the shop. It's been a while since i've watched anything while logged in though so maybe that's changed. I know when i'm not logged in that Twitch is virtually unwatchable for me as i end up having another stream open in the background and gradually watch that one instead and end up turning off Twitch. It's why i didn't see much of HoloCH or Miko's Twitch stuff.

Just finished watching this (She played the entire thing in 1 stream, took over 9 hours), the game was a lot better than I thought since I didn't hear much people talking about it.

At first I thought chat would be shit but from what I can tell other than 2 person at the beginning saying dumb shit, the chat was pretty good, no super chat turned on probably helps, or it could just be me expecting too little from the internet these days.

I mostly stayed on Mikocchi's stream during the festival. It's rather hilarious how she scrambled to finish her haunted house attraction while fighting back random mob spawn.

Still, I don't get why Cover didn't allocate more RAM for their MC server instance just for this festival. The server simply couldn't handle more than 20 people logging in concurrently. The same thing happened during the sports festival last year, albeit to a lesser degree.

Kvik It's very odd, HoloEN were fine. They seemed to avoid the HoloEN curse! No frame issues at all that i noticed during the fireworks and photo session which seemed to be the most demanding segment so i think it's PC related. So i don't think it's entirely server related tbh but there was something going on as i did see "teleporting" movement now and then from Lamy when Ina and Lamy were going around together.

I'll be watching the other HoloEN & HoloID archives and translated clips from HoloJP this week so that's a nice thing to look forward to in the evening.

Lulu then Coco, gonna be a sad few days but at least we had fun together with them so that's good. Haachama's hiatus is different in my mind as it's rumoured she's off to university and is having a break from streaming to concentrate on that which would make sense.

Ahh, i had Ina & Lamy/AZKi & Sora open then moved to Gura/AZKi & Sora later on. HoloEN were fine buring fireworks but AZKi was a slideshow, bless.
She needs to have a word with AMe & Botan about getting her PC upgraded!

I was also playing a game so i was mainly listening to them rather than watching until the last hour or so when i started watching more.

So i don't think it's entirely server related tbh but there was something going on as i did see "teleporting" movement now and then from Lamy when Ina and Lamy were going around together.

I was watching Polka's viewpoint earlier and there was definitely an issue with chunks not loading in time. She basically uses her Elytra, died once because of a dodgy landing, and revived to an empty level after about 10 seconds or so. She logged out and then logged back into an already heavily populated server and thankfully the chunk loads properly this time and she respawned in her room at 5th-gen house.

I definitely noticed the "teleporting" thing happened to Kiara because she visited Miko's haunted house and weirdly enough, she had full bars in her connection status. Definitely something weird going on there.

As ezodagrom said, maybe they needed to up the resources for the server for that weekend. I don't know what provider etc the HoloJP server is running on so i have no idea how possible that would be especially for just the weekend as although the HoloJP server is active it's not overloaded most of the time as there's not a ton of people active at the same time outside of festivals and events.

It was a fun event and it seemed to inspire Calli who wants to do an EN version of a fairground/festival for newcomers to HoloEN as they expand which seemed to fire up the others too. I'd imagine HoloID would be up for that as well as they seem to flit between HoloEN and HoloJP minecraft which is great.

I like the history of the HoloJP server but i also like that HoloEN have their own server to build their own stories and structures on. Maybe someday Cover can add the multiverse plugin and link the two servers together through portals.
