Great to hear Cara Ellison is on this. I think she also did some character work for Dishonored 2, and while the main plot of Dishonored 2 was a wash, I actually liked the dialogues, especially the ambient ones, and things like the street singers. Not sure how much of a hand she had in all that, but I take it as a good sign that she's working on this.

It's starting to dawn on me just how cool it is that they're actually making this.

Such a left-field announcement, y'know? So great to see a true classic being honored and revitalized for modern times. I never did get around to beating the original Bloodlines, but will resolve that in time.

Also a modern RPG w/ vampires? Sign me the f up.

I heard about this. They need to steer clear of Cyberpunk 2077, so maybe we'll see a Q3 or even Q4 release.

It was an easy delay to see coming. It was still looking really rough at gamescom and Q1 is a blood bath and more niche games should try their best to avoid it. It's a pc focused game but so is Doom and Cyberpunk and on console you have tlou 2 and ff7 releasing around that time as well. That's a no win scenario for a game like this.

It'll be best if it says away from Cypberpunk 2077's release date as well... A lot of overlap between audiences and us consumers only have so much money. A win and considering its predecessors level of polish on release, its best to have this thing sparkling all alone in its genre on release.

I'm super glad that they are taking the time they need to improve the game and also avoid those big releases mentioned above. I'll be playing the shit out of so many games in Q1, this is actually a relief because I want to be able to dedicate a bunch of time to Bloodlines 2. Take all the time you need!

Sorry for bumping this thread, but I just noticed there's a number of in-game unlocks for doing some events.

I'm very "out-of-the-loop" about this ARG/event.
Can someone who has been doing these to unlock the items please let me know a quick way to unlock all I currently can?

You need to login to Home | VtM: Bloodlines 2 (create an account when necessary).
On the account page you can see the quests:

• Blood Rush (Find and collect 5 hidden Blood Packs within the website)
• Rare Find (Find a unique Blood Pack within the website)
• Embrace (Turn your friends by inviting them through 'refer a friend')
  

To finish the first and the second quest you must look on all the pages of Home | VtM: Bloodlines 2. I already finished the quests and don't know where I found the blood packs.

Additionally there is a new event on Embrace the Unknown where you need to solve riddles.
The solution to the first riddle is Vanitas. I found this solution on Reddit

I assume that the new riddle solutions will also be posted on the same subreddit.

I don't see a log-in option on the Blood for Trade website.
Are we supposed to have received 50 points already, for participating (I'm not sure i got them yet)?

And I saw that yesterday there was a twitch streaming event that gave points as well (I missed it).
But, for future events, what account do we have to link with twitch (I have the old "tender" website linked, is that it?)?

I'm getting too old to participate in ARG's or "refer a friend" schemes to unlock in-game content, but since Vampire: The Masquerade - Bloodlines is a personal favourite, I guess I'll make an exception.

The atmosphere is great. I don't really care much about the weird facial animations or rather low quality character models.

To me Bloodlines is all about immersion and atmosphere.

Saw the email earlier. I'm shocked more releases arent trying to tap into some pandemic good will and pushing back where they can. I can wait for this, it's been this long, a few more months to a year arent so bad
