New week, new thread! What are you playing?

Continuing Octopath Traveler. I have completed most ch3 stories already. I wonder why the writers kept using betrayal as a main drive of the stories. Because it's the easiest tool to portray the villains? Funny thing is that the non-betrayal stories are better written, namely H'aanit and Tressa's. However, I do think that my favorite story so far is Alfyn's. His naivety, idealism, and the subsequent moral dilemmas are nice to read.

Finished Dragon Quest Monsters: The Dark Prince + the post game (although that's like 4 extra bosses and little else). I know the story of this game is more an excuse for monsters scouting, but it feels so disjointed. Sure it's an alternate version of DQ IV but it feels disconnected like you're missing events/conversations that have happened.

Anyway, the only thing left to do would be getting all the monsters, which i don't intent to do.

New Genshin update. Pretty phenomal content. The first ever voiced World Quest delivered in spades. Crazy lore drops, an emotional story and stunning vistas everywhere. Also funnily, this felt more Sci-Fi than anything in Star Rail :cold-sweat:

Slowly chucking away at FF7 Remake as well.

Played a little bit of Coromon as well, since it was cheap in a bundle and I like monster collectors. Will try to play this a little bit on and off as well.
