New week, new thread! What are you playing?

Continuing Octopath Traveler 1. Just chilling and taking my time to finish the side quests and dungeons one-by-one. Nothing to write home about. :coffee-blob:

I didn't have a main focus this week, but I did try the recently released Dragonsword Awakening for some hours. An interesting product but it received multiple patches and it may or not receive additional content (story/characters, costumes, new regions) depending on how it does so I prefer to wait a year and then come back to it to a more "complete" package

Live A Live, completed more scenarios i don't know if I like this approach of "mini-stories" or not but getting close to the end.

I tried the Marvel: Tokon beta I don't think I will get it (at least at launch unless i found a very good deal, which doesn't look like it).

Continuing on Mina the Hollower,
I seem to have managed to get better at the game, running theough the first dungeon with basically no deaths (well once to the boss on purpose because I thought I lost the duke. Turns out he waits out the fight from a distance.. so a bit unneeded).

Have entered both the bayou and septemburg areas already, but I headed back to the crypt and am currently trying to do the no-hit challenge to rise from mina's grave. I have managed to die 2 times to the final enemy while waiting for the damn plants to retract before the crypt entrance...o_O

Is there an easy way to choose sidearms somewhere in the underlab? I tend to not use them as much as I often seem to have the wrong sidearm for the situation, and I do not want to run to and fro just for a bonestone/shortcut.

Edit: right, I forgot about the poo-creature. I died a couple of times to his exploding flies. So I did actually rack up a few extra deaths in the first dungeon.. :poop:

Finished Citizen Sleeper 2: Starward Vector. It's a sequel! Expands and changes some of the mechanics and "maintenance" stuff from the first game, but it's definitely a sequel.
I have some issues with the writing and world building (I guess).
You are an entirely different Sleeper in the sequel, but somehow as if my magic you end up running into most of the people who left the ring station from the first game. Most of them don't play big part in the sequel which makes it all the more stupid, their history doesn't come into play most of the time and so it doesn't matter that they are from the first game. In most cases they could have literally just swapped the character name and art and nothing would have changed. But they are there and it feels incredibly contrived and makes the 🪐 SPACE feel extremely small.

I also started playing Construction Simulator.
It's about what you expect, you do all kinds of construction work with big machines from excavating to road paving and hauling premade concrete walls on your truck to the crane and then you get on the crane and plop the walls in place.
Somehow the controls are kind of insane and it feels like it's made by people who have never played a game before. You can remap some of it but not all of it. Maybe there's some logic behind it all in terms of trying to emulate the controls to how these machines work in real life, but man, Germans am I right?
