Finished the SRWY Anniversary Expansion, and with it all of its possible content
I enjoyed it, it's most likely the best bang for your bucks among all 30 and Y dlcs: a new attack, a new unit, a new plotline in almost every level, and there are lots of levels too, and it all comes together very well
My only issue is how the whole thing is completely separate from the base game, everything is locked to this expansion, you load a base game clear file and basically replay a different version of the last chapter but greatly expanded and with a much more definitive, and happier, ending. But then what was the point of the base game ending? Or anything that was left open in the dlcs?
Honestly, it feels like this expansion would have been part of the base game if the original game got an extra year of development, and the way it's implemented is a compromise to not force the player to replay the whole game just to see the new content at the very end (you know, the Persona way)
