New week, new thread! What are you playing?

Continuing Tears of the Kingdom. I haven't completed all the sidequests and shrines yet, but after 120 hours I felt the burn-out so I went ahead to fight Ganondorf. Unlike Ganon in Botw, this was an excellent boss fight. It also reminds me of the final fight in Skyward Sword (which was my favorite Zelda final boss fight).

Overall, I think Tears is a better game than BotW, despite the disappointing Depth. Meanwhile, Breath of the Wild was the ground-breaking one, delivered a magical experience that truly unforgotten. Either way, both games were excellent in their own ways. I look forward to seeing how the developers will continue to innovate the Zelda series in the coming years.

I finished the Penacony chapter in Honkai Star Rail. I had points where I loved it due to legitimately emotional moments the scene where the Express crew say goodbye to their predecessors was near MGS3 ending tier and points where I hated it due to padding It was all a dream. I used to read Word Up magazine.. You can tell the devs loved Persona 5 Royal as Sunday is just diet Maruki. Anyway it's the first time I've actually enjoyed a gacha game for its writing and thought it was really good overall, but I'm putting it on the back burner for awhile so I can play other stuff.

I also started Silkong. Nothing interesting to report there as I have only played about 3 hours and haven't reached the pain yet.

I barely touched anything since I finished Silksong. Went back to Street fighter 6, but not much.

I guess I'll get back to Kingdom Hearts 2.8 and play 0.2 and the movie and then I guess I'll finally start III.

Ended Silksong. What a ride. Tough as nails at some points with a few real bullshit fights. Almost certainly will end on my Goty list.

Continuing Final Fantasy Tactics: The Ivalice Chronicles. The voice acting really adds another level to the plot in this game. I knew there was politicking going on but its different when you hear the shadiest person whisper the lines. Really great work in this, honestly.

Not clear how far the rebalancing has gone, some fights are definitely easier but I have also played this game a ton of times so know when the most insane fights are, and know to be prepared. Still, the level curve seems to require less grinding which is nice. And being able to decide when to take random battles is a HUGE help.
