New week, new thread! What are you playing?

Continuing Super Robot Wars V. In the previous thread, I wrote that the story is confusing since I haven't watched Might Gaine and Nadesico, but I pushed through anyway and now entered the Cross Ange storyline. I did end up watching a few episodes of Nadesico but decided to drop it for now. Why? Because I started watching Cross Ange. Story and writing is cringy at best and atrocious at worst but, to be frank, the show is quite addicting. The villain being a freaky god is certainly a choice. But Villkiss is cool so I am definitely using it a lot in-game. On the other hand, I'm very excited to have Full Metal Panic roster. Sousuke is the real chad.

I'm also slowly reading through Girls' Frontline 2 second event story of the anniversary, as well as starting Ever17 (the original version). I read 2 routes (10+?) years ago but never finished it, so I'm hoping that I can finish it off this time.

After finishing The Hundred Line: Last Defense Academy a few weeks ago, I continued my FFVII Rebirth long replay by completing the Gongaga region.

Last night I had 100%’d Gongaga, so I put the game down and went to the next thing on my backlog, Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds.

Really digging this kart racer so far. I kind of dislike the complexity in customising your kart, as it has gacha/microtransaction/MAU bait vibes about it, but the tracks are better than this year’s other kart racer, Mario Kart World, and that’s important to me as I was pretty disappointed with that game.

Dragon quest II HD-2D: Finally I did some progress, completed my party and got 3/5 sigils. I ended up giving up in doing it in draconian difficulty, i didn't enjoy it as much as i did in the other games.

Spending most of my free time on 100 line and Inazuma. Catching up to some pending reviews of smaller games here and there, but getting into the holiday mood.

Started Jack Move. Seems quite delightful so far. Looks gorgeous.

Just finished Control + the 2 DLCs. Good stuff. Glad I waited with playing it until I had a new graphics card. The lighting looks soooo good with Raytracing.

Also played the new story in the Genshin update. Fantastic stuff. Nod-Krai is the gift that keeps on giving.
Still slowly chucking away at Where Winds Meet as well.

Still thinking what to play next. Tempted to play Another Crab's Treasure. I still need to wrap up Digimon as well, and Monster Hunter Stories that god sidelined by Digimon. There's also Steel Rising which I initially dropped because the performance was untenable, but maybe I can now brute-force it.
