Nice it's about time. Don't expect a game on par with 0 in content, it IS a ps2 remake after all (although they added a lot more in kiwami 2). That being said it's still a fun game.
Oh jeez, can't wait, triple dip on this one just like Yakuza 0, hopefully this one won't be far away of the other two Yakuzas already released on PS4 (Kiwami 2 and Y6)
Cool, will probably get it day one, I've played 1 and 2 on the ps2 but it's so long ago I could only remember the intro and the ending, and the "I peacocked your mom" sidequest, but I think that's 2.
Yakuza Kiwami is coming to PC on February 19th!
Yakuza Kiwami is now available for digital pre-order on Steam for £14.99 / $19.99 / €19.99, including a 10% discount and exclusive bonus content, like avatars, wallpapers and a digital manga."
Glad that PC folks can enjoy this series. I played all games in the series on PS2/PS3/PS4 and they are amazing, well worth revisiting in their updated form.
The "Digital Manga" included with the Digital Deluxe edition is the "The Dragon's Path" motion comic series (the Icon on the Steam page is specifically issue 3.) made to promote Yakuza 0's initial PS4 localization. I'm not quite sure how this will be handled.
and most importantly, which also relates to the first point. The Dev Branch for 0 has been getting actively updated again, with the most recent change being on January 17, 2019.
This is just speculation on my part, but the fact that Kiwami no longer has Denuvo, Combined with this news, leads me to believe they will also be patching Denuvo out of 0 alongside whatever other changes (Probably fixing the lighting. Note that link has spoilers for a pivotal scene in 0.) this update is supposed to bring.
