I have a multitude of older movies and such on DVD's and decided to watch one on my spanking new Series X only to get a flashing green screen. Can anyone else replicate this issue so that I know it's just not on my end? I reckon it's a codec issue on the player but I can't be sure until I know that it's not just me.

Tried googling it but apparently no one owns movies anymore... How can anyone trust getting movies to stay on streaming services or as digital purchases these days is beyond me. :p

What DVD caused this issue? Testing with older Doctor Who discs I didn't get any errors such as mentioned.

Storm of the Century and Mimic 1 this far but if I'd go through the discs I'm betting I'd find more. Can't see anything that ties those two together outside of the fact that the discs are old.
