Hmm interesting. Only played LiS 1 so far and it's good. but not 10/10 category. How would you compare it to that?

LiS 1 was like a very very solid 8/10 for me

LiS 2 is a 10/10 ... easily

the story alone is just incredible ... and the soundtrack is killer

oh, and unlike the first game - this time around your choices actually DO matter at the end ... yes, there are "only" 2 choices at the very end of the game, but how both of those actually play out can be VERY different depending on your previous choices in all the chapters (and it's not just some minor details either) ... the game has 7 endings

oh, and there's no more cringey "40 year old people think teenagers talk like this" dialogue

I do think it's pretty amazing that it clearly sold 100s of thousands on Steam when you could get it for a $5 subscription (on a much worse platform, but still).

Good package, for a fair price on a good service platform. I'm surprised myself, but it kind of makes sense?
I would really love to see Jedi Fallen Order Steam vs. Origin Premium numbers.

Thank you so much for sharing your impressions! It's one I've been looking to pick up for so long and figure it's going to be a perfect one to play this winter/holiday season as friends and family are getting together.

Certain things tug at our heart strings differently, so sure, it might not have been as impactful for some folks but that feeling is precious and we should all be more accepting and understanding of those moments! And you're certainly not alone, I know I'll be tearing up and crying throughout.

I absolutely adore Life is Strange 1 and Before the Storm, finally some games I can easily connect with. The comics have been pretty good as well, although I could have done without the weird emo guy in this last storyline (same as I could have done without all the Warren scenes in the original game...).

With that said, I'm really liking Life is Strange 2 so far. I'm still at the beginning of the third chapter and I came to care about both brothers. I like how Daniel reacts to your actions and to what you teach him along the way. Having 4 younger siblings, I understand what pain in the ass they can be

yeah ... there are 7 endings this time around

well, 4 really ... the rest are variations of some of those 4

but still - in LiS2 you can't really see all the endings just by loading the last checkpoint ... you have to actually replay the entire game and hope your choices lead to one of the other ones ... and i absolutely LOVE that idea

While no doubt on your affirmation, I highly doubt Sony would start releasing things on PC with something like Horizon ZD, however, after the massive success of Halo and others, I can totally see them going with the juggernauts.

this is the absolute best game i've ever played (and i'm not saying this lightly)

it's so much better than the first one too ... in every possible way (and i really like that one as well!)

absolutely ... it's an easy 10/10 for me ... definitely my #1 GOTY, don't even have to think about it twice (and in a year when SO MANY incredible games released - this really says a lot!)

nope ... the only pre-order bonus were some backpack patches (in-game stuff) ... but you can but that as DLC if you REALLY want them (they don't change anything in the game, though ... they're literally just backpack patches)

Anton The Fat claiming that HZD comes to PC in February and seeing how people lost their mind over it is pretty damn funny. I don't believe it for a second, but I doubt that Sony doesn't at least entertaining the idea of putting something like Drake's Collection or original TLoU on PC seeing how well stuff like Halo: MCC can perform.
