Is it screw up though? We only have Steam number, we don't have any idea what is EGS and RGL numbers. For all we know it could sell like hot cakes on there.

It's possible but they didn't do any PR for it so it's also possible that it simply sold under expectations.

Japan is something else, so less than a month ago there was no official way to get a Valve index. You had to pay over $1,300USD just to get one imported there from some other site (so you were paying about $300USD extra and people did do this)

Now get this you can buy a Valve index in Japan now for under $900USD!!!! They are being sold for around $880USD in Japan for the full set. Oddly enough it cost $570USD for the HMD, $330USD for the controllers and $182 for the base stations. And it seems that what most people are interested in are the controllers.

If I was in Japan I would buy one since they are cheaper and because well they are sold out in the US. Also for these prices these are at the physical stores that are selling this stuff and not just Steam.

Meanwhile RDR2
Game currently has 'Mixed' reviews. Usually this doesn't affect sales since even NBA 2K games are in top sellers while having Overwhelmingly negative reviews. The PC issues from early adopters may have put people off from the game for one thing.

SaGa Scarlet Grace might just have my favorite turn-based battle system of all time. It's so fucking good.
It's extremely good from the 2 hours I've played so far, yeah. It's pretty straight-forward to get into it, but it looks like there's a lot of depth.
My favorite one might still be The Last Remnant though (I should play The Last Remnant again) just because of the sheer scale and the way it handles it.
Scarlet Grace doesn't require you to read a Wiki to understand it though, so it has that going for it :D

Wait, what ? How is it even possible ?
It's complicated situation involving sale of Prey IP (included with ID Software purchase) to Bethesda.

It uses cd keys. normally you could of course generate more, but this last sale by 2K games right before their publishing license for Prey expired,
so they simply didn't have time to generate more keys.

SMT3/DDS Press Turn is still my favorite.
Such a pity those games are stuck on dead platforms. :\
I still don't get why that system is so revered. It's basically "discover weakness -> use weakness -> win". (Or "new enemy group randomly uses your weakness -> gets consecutive turns -> die")

I haven't played Scarlet Grace yet, but my favourite turn-based battle system in JRPGs is easily the one in Breath of Fire: Dragon Quarter. You can actually meaningfully act in a tactical fashion in that game, based on the information presented to you, and the stakes make that matter.
(In RPGs in general my favourite turn-based system is in Divinity OS)

So I'm installing my new SSD and well because it's been a while since Installed my SSD in my computer (2014) I didn't call how I installed my SSD to my PC and from the looks of it I need screws to install the SSD..... Welp I'm pretty sure that I tossed those out.

So does it matter if an SSD moves around since there are no "moving" parts in it? I might be able to get something like string and just tie it so that it won't move...

Maybe I should just get a new case and stuff and start from scratch. /S

I just hope this goes well and I will be doing the fresh install of Windows 10 on my Intel 660p.

I've literally had (SATA) SSDs hanging from their cables for years. (Note that this is not an indorsement of that, just a "yeah, it probably works")

That said, with a 660p you're talking about an M.2 SSD module, right? you generally need the one single screw for that since the screw is what presses the contacts to the module connector on the other side. But that screw is usually included with m2 SSDs IIRC.

No the SSD that I'm talking about is the Samsung 860 EVO that I got along with the Intel 660p.
And I will take what you said as it being okay (sort of), and even if I'm not using screws I should at least try to use something else since I do move my case once in a while to look at somethings inside (but then again I typically don't move it more than 10 feet at any one time

People surprised that RDR2 peaked 12k CCU players yesterday on Steam, that's a low, but, have they considered that it's a 106GB game and not everyone pre-loads? Today is 16K and I'm sure it will go as up as 30-35K, is it low compared to MCC? sure, is it a bad mark? fucking not.

Thanks for the info ; so the Kotaku's article is total bullshit, it's a publisher issue, Steam have nothing to do with it.

Not suprised though, but still.

Seems journalism is a hard job, checking facts instead of saying nonsense must be too much pain for some people. :steam_cleanseal:

Yep, it's also an SP focused game and those rarely do as good as multiplayer stuff like Halo or D2, Sekiro was a bit of anomaly in that regard.

and in other news - the music in LiS2 continues to be FUCKING INCREDIBLE!!!

(no spoilers here, it's just the music ... you can watch it)
It seems you really want us to play LiS2 lashy :p

Fine, I'll obey. I'll buy it as soon as I've finished Yakuza 0 and Halo Reach.

I'm quite enjoying Yakuza 0 by the way. I'm still figuring out the combat, but the (side)quests are great!

Square / Dontnod should think about bringing lash to their marketing team. I hated LiS 1 ep 1 and never thought I'd spend money on a LiS game ever again, but all those posts about season 2 are making me interested on it. Damnit lashman

PLEASE play it ... it's soooo much better than the first one (and i really liked the first one as well)

no more cringey "that's how 40 year old people think teenagers talk like" dialogue, vastly superior soundtrack, MUCH better character writing, better gameplay, and your choices actually matter this time around (game has 7 endings)

etc. etc. etc.

Answering myself.

As expected, the game is growing NOW, because a lot more people will have it installed. Jeez, this is what happens when you want to make a thread just to make it look like a bad sign, next time some people should take in mind some factors that determine not the sales but viability of playing the game (aka I NEED TO DOWNLOAD 100 FUCKING GB WITH THIS SHITTY CONNECTION)

To be fair, it's not like the cringe is gone, now it's just in wolf form :face-with-stuck-out-tongue-and-winking-eye:

eh, it's not that bad ... it's nowhere near the levels of cringe of stuff like "hella" or "shaka brah" ... plus they do it like 3 or 4 times across all 5 episodes

Says so in the article, yes. But I wanted to make sure lash has seen it to buy it.
i'd rather die
