Just play the JP version with English patch lol.

Honestly at this point I wanna try the Microsoft version just because they were actually crazy enough to localize it. Unless for whatever reason I get real into it, I doubt I'll stick with it and end up going to PSU/BB or something instead if I was gonna stick with any pso.

In Life is Strange 2 news:

Just finished the first episode. Already much better than the first game ever was. The characters both feel like actually interesting, and nice people. The early twist didn't take me much by surprise, honestly, as the even the game's banner teases enough to piece together what will happen.
But the story only really begins there, the interaction between Sean and Daniel is great, as is the feeling of being lost, in every sense of the word.
Looking forward to where it goes from there.
One thing I'm calling now: That puppy will die a gruesome, tragic death. No way it's still alive till Episode 5

:wd_heart:

and yes - it's definitely better than the first one in every possible way ... including the soundtrack (which i'm still listening to ... on a loop ... non-stop ... for like half a year now ... and no, i'm not joking)

and yeah, it only gets better from there ... ESPECIALLY episode 3 - worth it for the environments alone!

i love this game so much

Are there any games like NMS, but challenging worlds/creeps - proper survival elements with base building, resource management etc.

Osiris used to be that (more combat heavy), but apparently it just never fulfilled its potential. It might still be on EA, but it's been a while.

Some devs wake up late and discount their games 3 days after the sales started.

Edit: ah, of course ...

hmmm ... there's this one:

it's not EXACTLY like NMS ... but i think it might be close to what you're describing

It's a shame - I feel like a NMS with good npc creeps, proper survival etc would be amazing. I mean that's what I thought NMS would be originally, but ye.

well NMS is still in early access :P it might get there ... eventually ;)

Finished Shovel Knight: King of Cards.
Although I think this is my least favorite of all the games, mainly due to the lack of personality of King Knight and his limited movement set, it is still a solid expansion and a nice farewell to the world and characters. It's nice to see how Yacht Games Club tied every story arc together and made a coherent overarching story.

If I were to rank all the games it'd probably be: Plague Knight = Shovel Knight > Specter Knight >>> King Knight

Speaking of Shovel Knight, just got a notice that these Amibos are now finally available after and endless wait: https://www.amazon. es/dp/ B07LFVVYD9 (.com too)

edit ffs can't get the imbed working correctly

For some reason I just bought No Man's Sky... And I can't refund it this time cause I got it from CDKeys.

for what it's worth - it's not nearly as bad as it used to be ;)

might actually end up being decent by the time it's out of early access :P

Well, it has a third person camera now so that alone will make it more enjoyable for me! I'm not the best when it comes to open-ended, make your own fun, sandboxy stuff, so it may not click. We'll see.

For fans of dungeon crawlers, Stranger of Sword City is once again on sale:

And for fans of the Hitman series, who can tolerate some "jank", the Death to Spies double pack is well worth the asking price:

Worth noting that Stranger of Sword City has an updated version on Vita. Minor content additions, and not-so-minor balance/QoL changes.

Can you disable the survival stuff now? I found it mind-numbingly boring with all the scavenging for fuel to reach other planets to scavenge for more fuel and such.

Another sale and still no Sea Dogs on discount :(
Be on the lookout on Gamersgate.com.
The game and DLCs are frequently on sale there. :)

Some bundles I chanced upon

Speaking of Regalia (which I already own), there's a bundle that includes it that may be worth a look:

Looks great. Interesting to see a PC exclusive from Japan. Hope they look into funding an English translation once the full game is out. Can't see it not making back the money the translation would cost.

Doesn't seem like it has much to translate from that video either, though it might not be representative of the whole.

Does anyone have any feedback on the following games:

-Not Tonight (it looks lovely and all, but is it just a "clicker" game, or is there more to it?)
-We. The Revolution
-The Executioner
-CHIKARA: Action Arcade Wrestling (I haven't been able to enjoy wrestling games since those arcade SNES/Mega Drive WWF games like WWF Super WrestleMania and WWF Rage in the Cage, and this one seems like it may feature similar gameplay; does it?)

thanks :)

We. The Revolution is fun if you don't mind to read and like choice driven games. Is mostly reading and trying to determine if one is guilty or not with also having in mind the political consequences of your ruling (you are a judge and the person in trial is guilty but maybe executing him favours a faction you don't like or a genuine terrible faction).

The game starts being historically accurate regarding the French Revolution but it can become his own thing based on the consecuences of your actions, it also has some degree of strategy and tactical stuff, but the main thing is the story driven trials and your choices.

Not tonight is pretty solid. It depends on how you define a clicker game, if it's a mindless clicking without paying much attention then no, it's not just a clicker game. I'd say it's more of a narrative game with a concept that is a lot similar to Papers, Please. You work as a bouncer at various events and you have to inspect people, check your guest list, check IDs, permits and other stuff that gets introduced as the game progresses. There's also a story that develops when you're not working involving the main character, a post-Brexit Great Britain and some people who'll get in touch with you during your shifts and you'll have to decide if you want to join their cause and support them or not.
