|OT| Post comething completely irrelevant!

Popped over to have a quick glance at Era and saw the "Why is there such tiny text in games" and i instantly had a flashback to the start of the HD Generation and how most games then had tiny text for a good while as devs got used to juggling HD/SD resolutions on consoles. Fun, squinty times indeed.

I had a weird dream where I was chased by a bunch of guys with clown make up and hoodies riding bikes and skates, on the streets of the house I used to live.

Have you ever had a dream that when you wake up you swear you woke up in another dimension? That was one of them.

Ehm, I was only supposed to have one or two glasses of wine... think I might end up drink one and half bottle!

So who else is getting drunk?

Fun side note, since I was homeless for almost two years, not once could I get drunk, so this might be the first time in a very long time I'm getting drunk! Not sure I like it.XD

The fact that Trump went from doing dumb cameos in movies and TV shows to ordering the assassination of Irani leaders is quite something

Carpet may have been the third wheel during Aladdin and Jasmine's date, but you better believe it knows how to munch some rug.

I should really go to bed but these 2 "part time" cats that comes visit me on a regular basis are here and it's raining outside and I cannot bring myself to kick them out.

The one in the front would be fine staying, he has no problem waking me up if he wants to leave. The one in the back is rather shy and would end up sitting in front of the terrace door, probably for hours, without making a sound, and I don't want to do that to her.

I got the delivery and a chance to introduce myself to the neighbour.
It's a girl.
In my age range.
And she was super friendly and outgoing,
And she's cute.
And asian.

Sugar addiction is the best thing I've dropped, but also the easiest thing I fall back to! Right now I'm trying to quit it again and yeah it's a pain.

I feel for you m8!

Funny thing is that I got a sugar addiction when I quit smoking. I'm curious what my next addiction will be. :)

Stay strong, Geo! It'll get easier to resist such temptations and after a while you will actually prefer and apple to some candy, mad i know but it's true. Get some dried fruit packs etc for nibbling on when you feel a sugar craving.

I'm back at work tomorrow so i'm going to kick off my healthier eating phase and start doing more exercise on top of my daily cycle commute. Between Cycling, Ring Fit Adventure, Yoga and a beach walk during dinner hour i should get rid of the belly i'm developing from being at a desk all day.

You know i posted that i was due back at work tomorrow? Weeeeeeell, about that... i had a call and it was my boss checking if i was okay and if i'd been knocked off my bike or something, DOH! Yeah, been doing housework and missed some calls and txts on my phone. One thing that's great about my place is they will call and check if you're not in and a cyclist etc.

So yeah, i was due back in today and got my days muddled after nearly 3 weeks off work. lol. Luckily i have 5 days holiday spare so they just booked one out for me.

I need some god damn candy! My body is craving for sugar since I'm on a diet.

Oh and my colleagues eating french fries in front of me doesn't help either :(
Find a replacement. If you crave soda, go get a glass of water. If you want sweets, eat some nuts or trail mix. If you want chocolate, buy 70% chocolate. And so on.
I’ll post this on the Diet Thread but basically cravings are a cycle, with a trigger, a process and a reward. You can’t probably control the trigger (in this case, co workers eating stuff) but you can control the process and the reward.

Instead of

coworker eating cookies -> go to the store -> buy cookies

It can be

coworker eating cookies -> do a short walk around the office ->get a cup of water

Alright lets make a new attempt at going out for drink and not get so damned hungover this time.XD Going to try and not drink so much and try drink water between every glass.

It's funny, I don't like getting drunk and specially not getting hungover but I can't sit in my shitty apartment playing games all the time. I need to see some people even if it's just some drunk strangers!

Driving stick (like most Germans) for all my life and having a hard time explaining why I don't like automatic I finally found a way to describe what bothers me while driving an automatic car at work today. To me it feels like driving a car with heavy input lag.
