Keighley already said he played through the game several times over the years. And lots of other people on twitter said they played it plus they are letting other people like the guys from TESTED play it for several hours. Its been a done product for a while imo they are just optimizing it to run on all the headsets correctly. They wouldn't have shown that trailer and made the announcement if there was doubt.speaking of which - i'll eat my hat if volvo don't delay that game

I would guess they do a full blow out with a lot of media coverage next month and it will be out in middle of March.
The only way I see them delay it if some company unveils and releases new affordable VR headsets in the next month.
Fucking hell. According to HowLongToBeat, Days Gone (just started) is about 37 hours long. Fuck. Played about 1.5 hours and it feels very sluggy and janky.
Not sure if I will finish it, would be easier with a higher framerate too, probably running at 30 fps. Will see what I do.

Valve will release at least two games this year: Underlords 1.0, Alyx, and... maybe... a third game... Artifact Reborn.
Just hold off playing it until PS5.
Giant open world game made with UE is a a disaster for these ending gen old consoles. I wouldn't play any UE game on consoles right now unless its Fortnite itself.
On PS5 it will be 60fps for sure and maybe even higher depending on how much teraflops that thing has and whether Sony supports high frames. They might even boost graphics/res etc. Its worth the wait if its sluggish and janky. Especially for long games.
Yeah, I think I might just wait for an eventual boost the PS5 migh thopefully give.
All games get's a big fun boost by jumping up to 60 frames (or more).

Yep but license Cortana for it and watch it fly off the shelves. It'll be cool to see how it evolves over the next few years' use in businesses and i could see the tech appearing in home Smart Kit, Amazon making one for Alexa. Might be a bit too whimsical for Siri though.

Rush were a special band for myself and a group of friends in our teens back in the mid to late 80's. Them and Hawkwind, and Tractor etc. were our coming up bands. I've loved Rush almost my whole adult life and they helped me, and seen me through a lot of shit I done to myself and also had happen to me. Today has made me sad.
Right now I'm alternating between celeste and far cry new dawn. The latter is making me think Ubisoft is hellbent on making the best looking and most boring game of all time. It's kind of remarkable how generic it is.

When I booted up MHW I was afraid I might have lost my save file because of the way that the game starts. It makes it feel like you are booting the game for the very first time (which I guess is technically correct).
I didn't loose my Save file but I think I might have to change some settings since my fps will sometimes dip to the 40s and this is just in the ancient forest.

1). A lot of MS seems to want out of the console market for years now
2). They pledged every game on PC and followed through so far
3). The thing looks like a PC
4). I'm betting fanboys will get devastated with some serious sticker shock when the price is revealed. I'm thinking there will be a low end model that isn't the XSX, and that the XSX is at least $1000.
IIRC the higher ups have been wanting to kill Xbox since the early 360 days. Even Nadella was skeptical (or maybe he still is).
Well for Microsoft, Xbox is just a side revenue. Unlike Sony which pretty much their only profitable division is PlayStation.

The game gets a lot, a lot lot, better once you head south for the first time. The first section is bad and poorly thought out. I really enjoyed it in the end. Hordes are boring and not a lot of fun though.
Probably the worst performing ps4 exclusive on my slim as well.

Actually, the first part here isn't all that bad, it's more me having to ge tuse to the controls and aiming. Riding the bike is difficulty.
