Oh wow it's actually releasing for real? I remember it was delisted from Steam before but i had zero idea why.
looking at the comments ... seems to be squable with pulisher as it seems to be under new one
Back on Steam aye? :: Tonight We Riot General Discussions
Full story is the devs finally had time to finish the game and are partnering with Means TV to publish it. We had thought it was impossible to transfer a game to a different organization if it hasn't been released yet, because that's the way it works on Nintendo Switch. So we created this page, then immediately found out it is possible. So Steam is processing the request to transfer the old page, and then we'll shut this page down.

So TLDR, the game is coming out next month, but don't share this page with anyone because we are getting rid of it and going back to the old one in a couple days.

Didn't know about the 10% launch discount for SOR4, with the money I have in my steam wallet I can bring it down to 20. Maybe I'll grab it during the weekend.

STRIKERS 1945 is out now:

If you enjoy shmups, do consider picking it up.
It's been a while since we got a stable stream of classic shmups on Steam, with publishers like Degica apparently abandoning the idea, and now CITY CONNECTION is investing in bringing these titles to the PC, so it would be great to show there's some interest in the genre.

In May, we are getting two more games:

I knew Zerodiv handled all the recent Psikyo ports.
I was unaware that they were actually formed by former Psikyo staff, and that they were bought by CITY CONNECTION, so it seems Psikyo still lives on in some form. :)

---

In other news, the soundtrack to Streets of Rage 4 is now available to purchase:

I'll sound like a broken record, but Koshiro and Kawashima really should have done the whole soundtrack.
I listened to a couple of their tracks (I don't want to spoil the whole thing), and they nailed the Streets of Rage "vibe".
Koshiro, with his melodic house tracks, like the track already partially heard in one of the trailers, and the main theme. And Kawashima, with his brand of insanity (like the already known DJ Kwashi), and a wonderful surprise in the shape of the melodic track, Barbon.

I have no idea of what to play next now that I'm done with Daemon x Machina :confounded-face:
Digimon :D

or you wait until today in the evening and buy some new animu.
(but actually wait until tomorrow, in case it will be an appropriately themed Humble Animu Choice)

But actually you have a bunch of Ys games in your library that you haven't played yet

(start with 1 though for that bump goodness)

Humble will also have the game:

If you are a monthly subscriber, you will most likely get 20% off their price.
If you are not a subscriber, drop me a PM, and I'll send you a link that will enable you to get that additional discount (subscribers can send a "friend's link", so that others can temporarily use the subscriber discount).

Wow, thanks. I'm currently not subscribing humble, I'll drop you a PM if it turns out to be the cheaper option.

As for soundtracks, I'm partial to the first game, though SOR2's is increible as well of course. Really didn't like SOR3's, was really disappointed with that one.

I wish I could have played 4, but Uncharted 2 was a colossal masterpiece to me. The shooting was eh but everything else was wonderful and it's in my top 10 games of the last decade. Everything from the cinematics direction to the environments, to the storytelling, to the soundtrack. Nepal/not-Tibet felt like a lived-in world that had no right to look as good as it did on a PS3.

Has anyone been getting the same problems I described with the Steam client when purchasing things (the purchase goes through, but it gets "stuck" on the penultimate screen)?
I just added some wallet funds, I received an email confirmation from Valve and Paypal, I see the funds in my wallet, but the screen is still stuck, for a large amount of minutes, with the green button saying "working", but no message of a successful purchase.

True, should be finishing Digimon but as I played a Japanese game now I should play something from the west, I still haven't decided what to do, yeah, I'm a bit indecisive sometimes, each time I finish one game the same story haha

I used some weird Windows 10 app in the past (which got removed I think) to upload my food pictures. Another way would be to use a mobile emulator addon or tool inside your browser.
The Vivaldi browser actually makes it rather easy to upload photos to Insta directly on PC, but it isnt the "complete experience", several things are missing. I think its just mindboggling that a service can get so big and ignore such basic ease-of-use stuff.
Spotify is another big target of my ire, with both their desktop and mobile apps being lacklustre. I had the same couple of albums sitting on "recently played" for months now. The mobile app can be extremely slow. If you have a larger number of artists you follow, you dont have enough tools to organize them well. I dont want a huge gallery of album covers, give me compact lists. The integration of local files is laughable, and that especially sucks for stuff that just isnt on Spotify. And there's plenty more to complain about. They even removed useful features along the way, like the notfication bell that told you when an artist you followed released a new album. They kinda replaced it with something similiar, but that was a super neat & handy feature they removed for no bloody reason.
Netfix annoys me with their huge banners, autoplay (which you thankfully can switch off now, and I have done so instantly) and the weird "Instagram stories" previews. Twitters new layout is just straight up shite (thankfully there is a browser addon that lets you revert it)
UI and UX has really gone down the bin all across the board for many internet companies in my opinion. They present to you one formula one of their designers came up with and expect you to love it.
You think that eventually someone on the team of such companies would get that their formula doesnt fit all their costumers.
Valve gets it and lets you custumize so much about Steam, why cant other companies do the same with their services?

I use lightshot + my discord server as an uploader for pics, I also use it to keep track of images from twitter/pixiv, even divided them depending on categories

that said lightshot also has its own auto upload thingy to Lightshot — screenshot tool for Mac & Win , which I never used

I've played Uncharted 1-4, and I've enjoyed the first one the most because it felt so fresh at that time. Uncharted 4 was too slow and too cinematic for me. Never bothered to play the DLC.
Lost Legacy? Cause that is way better than U4. I liked Uncharted 4, but I found Lost Legacy way better.

For me: Uncharted 2 > Lost Legacy > 3 > 4 > 1

Lost Legacy was the only one I never bothered finishing. I'd grown tired of the formula by the end of 4, but didn't like the direction they went with in Lost Legacy.

I think most works agree Uncharted 2 is the pinnacle of the series. It all kinda went downhill from there, especially 3.

Oh my, the tracks I heard from Yuzo Koshiro and Motohiro Kawashima for Streets of Rage 4 are so fricking awesome!
Really, no disrespect intended to the other composers, especially Olivier Deriviere (who, I should add, it's a composer whose work I like), but these two should have just made the whole soundtrack.

Koshiro with his melodic house tracks.
Kawashima with his madness.
What a kickass duo!

I mean, this is not even my favourite Kawashima track in the game, but here he is showing some of his work for the game:

So this is how Meta ends, not with a bang, but with a tired Sony franchise.
Well, so be it ! I’m with Ge0force UC1 is the best.

The second one is too much on the shooter side, and as far as I remember introduced those awful arenas. The third is the one you don’t name, and I dropped the fourth out of sheer boredom (I had just investigated three tower sites or something). Maybe LL is great, I stopped with 4.

You want bad taste?

After a few recent "attacks" I received about Daikatana, allow me to share the following:

I really enjoyed playing Vampire Rain on the Xbox 360. :grinning-face-with-smiling-eyes:
Yes, the game that topped several "worse game of the year" lists.

And I stand by it.
People saw the character, and expected Splinter Cell, with vampires.
In truth, the game was the gaming equivalent of a "b movie", and an enjoyable hard as nails (at least until you got to know the mechanics) stealth title.
For most of the game, one false move, and it was game over. Your pistols were mostly useless, and would kill no one. You had to be smart, and effective.
And I had a lot of fun doing so. (y)

I would love to have it on PC.
Bullet Witch, another game I bought at the same time for the Xbox 360, was painfully mediocre (with bad frame rates; I'm yet to play the PC version), and a lot less enjoyable than Vampire Rain.

What's Trite?
Trite means dull. Uncharted 1 in particular pales in comparison to later entries.
Fine though they may be as 'baby's first shooty bang game', I find that the FPS of yonder years surpass it mainly because they involved exploration for secrets, resources and/or upgrades.
Heck any FPS of the 90s or predating UC1 can work as 'baby's first shooty bang game'.

Hard to believe COD and UC were the go to shooty bang games for the better part of...near a decade if not half a decade until Doom (2016) came out and reminded people how good shooting games SINGLE PLAYER CAMPAIGNS can be like.

I digress however:
I am biased when it comes to Naughty Dog
However, after playing many many shooters and action games, UC games come off way too simplistic in their scope compared to other shooters.

I like what I like, and I have no problem admitting it. ;)
I really enjoyed my time with plenty of games that were destroyed in reviews (that I bought anyway, because if I like the look of something, if it catches my interest, I couldn't care less about what reviews say).
I love Boiling Point (most reviews destroyed the game). I loved the last Splatterhouse game (most reviews were painfully bad, or at best mediocre; thankfully, since then I've seen some people re-appreciating the game in a good light). And there's plenty of other examples.

On the opposite side, GTA IV got plenty of 10's all around, and I attempted to play the game three times (once on the Xbox 360, and twice on PC), and I was bored to death, and the game never clicked with me. I abandoned it after 2-3 hours.

Mmh, I just realized that if I play Streets of Rage 4 on GamePass I will have to use DS4Windows.
Sweating bullets. And once again cursing at my past dumb self, which is unfortunately a daily occurrence these days.

Yesterday I thought about this time in the shop when I told my mother 'nah, we won't have a use for a second keyboard for media consumption on the 4k TV, it's too cumbersome'. Quick, invent time machine so that I can slap myself.

3 felt like it didn't really know what it wanted to say or be, there was never a sense of journey like in 2 where Nathan slowly comes to accept he wants to be a good guy instead of a selfish rogue. There was also a progression of environments that felt really both memorable and believable. 3 felt weird and discombobulated.

I never played 4 but from the cinematics I watched, it knows what it want to say a lot more.

Still no purchase button for Streets of Rage 4?
Why is it taking so long to fix this?

Valve was supposed to be fixing this with the developers almost 5 hours ago...

What a terrible timing.

Buy it through your wishlist :V
I know.
Guys, I posted about that wishlist trick a few hours ago... ;)

But, for those who didn't have it on their wishlists, or those unaware of this, they are still unable to purchase the game normally.
On launch day. :(

Maybe refresh? I see purchase buttons on both Steam and GoG for the game (in eastern US).

In the European page, there's not buy button.
Instead, it says: string(10) "1588258800"

Although, I just noticed they now added a message below saying "special offer", and that has a buy link.

By the way, Streets 4 is the latest object of RPS struggle to affirm its individuality.
The reviewer admits to more or less not get beat them all. Turns out he doesn't like Streets 4. Shock, awe. He finally laments the fact that Streets 4 is indeed a bts, and not some magically evolved brawler reinventing the wheel.
Saved you a click, don't thank me.

Disclaimer - I may distort things and this is a wonderful piece, I skimmed.

Finished the main story in Remnant: From the Ashes. It was pretty cool. I liked the gameplay and lore (was like a sequel to Chronos VR which is a good VR game). Only con is that it was shorter than expected (but the game is also not a full price game) and the level design and environment is kinda uninteresting and stale.

7.5/10 from me.

Will most likely check the adventure mode out in the future sometime, not particularly interested in a rerun og the campaign due to the stale level design and environments..

Also, the final boss is actually the boy you play as in Chronos VR.
