I don't know how I feel about the PS5 design, but I do think the controller looks great.
The only interesting thing about this console for me. Just hoping that there wiill be some ways of using on PC fast enough. Ideally the dev of DS4Windows adds support for it.

Read the tlou 2 kotaku review. Need to see/read more before making up my mind.
edit: On the other side, I don't really care about reviews anymore. I'll wait for impressions and gameplay videos.

Thought a bit about chances of HZD showing up during the PC Gaming Show. I think it is possible, the game is bundled with AMD CPUs now and AMDs presence at the PC gaming show was always strong.
For Bloodborne: Not sure it will be announced this month tbh.
Well, the game is currently at a 96 MC with over 80 reviews.
Looking at the more negative reviews, the only reason why they're relatively negative seems to be because the reviewers were a bit overwhelmed by how violent and dark the game can get.
Though I'm worried about how I'll feel about it myself, I think this is a good thing for the medium
I avoid certain movies because I know they cross a line for me, people who feel that this game could be too much for them should do the same.

I keep secretly hoping MS will gift me Halo MCC for participating in the flights. Won't happen I know.
Microsoft you cheapskate, you gifted me a beta Kinect ffs !

I would not bet on this really. The PC Gaming Show always underdeliver even when expectations are very low.

Aaah finished and got 100% in A Short Hike, it was indeed great as people have been saying!
It really is! =) Glad you liked it too!

Do you guys think Ghostwire: Tokyo can be an immersive sim? Please let it be an immersive sim.

for a supposedly "gameplay trailer" it sure leaves us to fill in the blanks ourselves.
I think Immersive Sims come in waves: they exist for a while, then they dont for a few years. We had a good run a few years ago with Deus Ex, Dishonored and Prey, and now there is a draught again. I hope the time for Immersive Sims will return soon. I absolutely love the genre. Hitman scratches that itch for me btw. Its not a pure Immersive Sim, but its close enough for me.
Anyway, yeah, that trailer showed me nothing, so we'll have to wait and see. The term "gameplay trailer" is completely meaningless by now. It's a silly industry.

maybe it'll be natively supported as their push to the pc space continues.

RE 7 + season pass is not cheap cheap, for its age I mean. I get the feeling I missed the very low prices some years ago.

Wonder when the Tetris Effect Steam page will go live. The coupon makes the EGS version tempting, but I have it on PS4, so I should be able to wait.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but wasn't RE7 demo some exclusive content not found in the game ?

40 days left. It could literally pop-up a week prior the potential release :/
A random thought I hadn't thought of before, but are there any plans for Halo 5 to come to Steam? That's not part of the MCC if I remember right?
No comments have been made about this AFAIK :blobweary:

Lol, out of the top 10 global best sellers, Sea of Thieves is on top, Destiny 2 stuff is second, Journey is 3rd (Annapurna), Satisfactory is 5th and the rest 6 is EA games.

Looks like EA and MS is doing really well on Steam and NFS Heat is on 11th place.

Spiders are our friends. Haven't squished one in years. (To others horror as I carry them outside on pieces of paper)
Same.
You must become one with arachnid. This will help if you are driving and suddenly there is a spider on or near you in a car. You think it will never happen and then it happens. Due to my spider friendliness training, I was able to calmly control the vehicle and brush it off when it was safe to do so.
SAME! This happened to me one or two years ago on the high way coming back from work. I was a little rattled at first, but then managed to calm down and keep driving safely until I got home and showed the little fella the way out

I mean you are completely right, I cant even afford let alone play most games day one or year one. But I still don't want to see shitty stuff happening and not care about it.
I'm in the same boat. The decision not to purchase, to boycott is not an emotional one. It's the logical path to follow to fix a demonstrated problem.

The thing that gets me is when developers who should know better, who were helped by the community, who were PC darlings turn their back on the platform and their users, take the moneyhats while telling us it's raining. I hate having to boycott them, to make that choice. And I will, every time, but I wish it didn't appear that gamedevs were so easily corruptible.

So few of them seem to care about what's right for the PC and the users that it's really disheartening.

Jesus christ, this is Flight Simulator (MS game):

This in VR....
Holy shit, where was this taken from? Those clouds are absolutely incredible. The only thing that comes close to that is SC's nebula tech and it's baked geo.

Continue to be very impressed with Supraland. The developers are very good at hiding secret stuff. Some puzzles also made me scratch my head for a good while. Let's see if I am able to get all achievements and find all the treasure boxes without following a guide. When the base game being this good, I am very excited for the upcoming DLC which should release late June / early July.

Edit: Update links. You can also get it on Humble Choice now.

My feelings are confused with Demon's Souls Remake. I loved the game on my PS3 (97% tropy completed), but something is bugging me with the Remake.

Like this comparison from Reddit:

Also this looks weird, like can't put my figner on it, Remake makes the boss looks like "comic"-ish. The dark and gritty atmosphere seems to be gone:

Im happy that Bluepoint have managed to add tons of more details to the environment, but the atmosphere that was a big part of the original game seems to me somewhat gone.

I'll wait and see. I don't wannt use the word "dissapointed" regarding the Remake, maybe "letdown" is more fit. I just think that they have changed too much or the changes they have done makes the game look weird. Can't really put a word on it.

If Bloodborne PC/PS5 version is true, the only thing I really want from it is 60 FPS, perhaps clearer image quality, but pretty much just higher FPS and the frame pacing gone.

The middle one looks best for me.

If it's on PC you can Reshade it but well...

Yeah, the middle one definetly looks best. Looks like Demon's Souls remade, but the atmosphere and the design style from the original game is still there,

Played one mission Halo 3 insider. Looks and plays nice, finally Halo 3 on PC and the wait is over.
Also played the first mission and it runs and feels really well at unlocked framerates. The original 360 version was notorious for it's small FOV so it's really nice to actually not having tunnel vision for the entirety of the game.

Only thing that they still haven't figured out is the sometimes really quiet dialog and the in-game cutscenes capped at 60 can be juddery at times.

Unless there's a black version of DS5, I'm not getting one. I hate dirty and yellowish white electronics after months/years of use.
Mine's also still white. But I also haven't used it since I finished Spider-Man two years ago.

Yeah I noticed the audio as well, gun sounds were muffled too. Probably the same issue as in Reach. I mean aren't those both the same engine?

That is exactly the feeling I got when watching the trailer. The monsters feel derivative. I also like that they tried injecting color into it but they overdid it, it's too vibrant, too saturated.

The tonal difference between Original and Remake is mostly found in the colors imho, the original had a very strong, opressive bleakness to it, like a sort of medieval apocalpyse (which befits the setting) where as the strong blue-orange looks like much more generic fantasy medievalism.

The same is true for the architecture found in the games, the original has very simplistically designed and formed architecture, especially in boletaria, that suggested an earlier or more opressed era of time, where everything was built purely out of practicality, not beauty, where as the remake suggest a grandiose medieval society that once proudly flexed their wealth in front of others.

It's of course up to discussion wether or not te simplistic architecture in the original was intent or an issue of budget, but regardless, it is was made DeS DeS.

In regards to Demon's Souls artstyle, the only thing that looked weird was Flamelurker's new design that looked straight out of Diablo and I get that some here are disappointed with the blue-ish color grading, but the rest seems good, imo. I don't know why some here compare the Dragon's God look with the CG opening when it's best to compare it in-game. I think too many people are a bit too cynical or hard on the game but I understand people want the remake to be fully perfect.

So many people dislike these choices and are loud about it, so hopefully Bluepoint listen to feedback and implement the changes.

Ooooh, I didn't know they weren't both in-game screens (sorry, never played the original, nor watched any gameplay of it).
Looking at some you-tube videos, I see now that the remastered is close enough to the original.

I still prefer a non-bluish color palette, though. But that will be easily fixed once it comes to PC :grimacing-face:

It feels like a hollywood remake. More money thrown at it, with prettier and shinier effects, but the actual soul (hehe) is missing.
