Im tempted to delay my current playthrough of Shadow Tactics and Thronebreaker to jump into P4G. And Outer Wilds is coming next week which I will play day 1.

That worked thx.

  • Fullscreen + Vsync = locked 60 fps, locked 60Hz
  • Fullscreen + no Vsync = 83 fps (half of max refresh rate), no G-Sync, locked 60Hz
  • Borderless + no Vsync = 130-145fps, G-Sync working
  • Borderless + Vsync = locked 163 fps (2 fps below max refresh rate), G-Sync working.
Not a big deal, just a bit unexpected behaviour.

Yeah, I wrote about the strange frame limiting behaviour if you disable V-sync in the game in my analysis.

I don't think you ever want to disable V-sync in this.

Also, it already has more than 1000 reviews. Pretty wild.

no bloodborne and no CTR is a bummer, And something Else, Sega was a sponser right? What did they show?
 
I'm so incredibly annoyed by Persona 4 having Denuvo.

I really, really, REALLY want to buy it. But with Denuvo I can't. It's probably my most hated thing in PC gaming. I'd sooner buy a game on the EGS than a game with Denuvo.

I'm not sure if I missed it because MC has been down for me the past few hours but is it known who did the PC port for P4G?
 
alright then, pretty weak show, probably the worst E3 week in years, No Ubisoft, No EA, No Microsoft and very poor showing from Sony. I hope things are better next year.

EA is on the 18th, Ubisoft is July 12th, Microsoft is doing an event in June/July (date not known)

So is there anywhere where it just lists games and links to yt? I am finding a bunch of long worded articles that don't link, have few pictures, and dont' really tell much about the games.
 
Decided to go continue with my playthrough of Thronebreaker and Shadow Tactics. P4G will probably be after those. I loved P5 on my PS4 so Im looking forward to P4G a ton.
 
Wasn't expecting P4G to be such a good port. Only issue I had with it so far is motion blur and even that seems to come n go in some areas. I had a bit of tearing here n there but it seemed to go away after toggling borderless --> fullscreen and then back to borderless.

Also wasn't expecting this to run over 60fps. Its kind of amazing lol. The higher rez makes the art and locale look so good even as an old PS2 game.

Don't know why Atlus waited so long for this. If they can get this port in this type of shape the game should have been available on so many platforms by now.

There are a bunch more stuff they can bring over to steam. Hopefully this makes good money for them so they can release everything else from their catalog. Also now I really want SMTV to be a Switch console exclusive and maybe they do a PC release alongside it pls 😏

Because it wasn't ATLUS JP that ported the game. It has all the hallmarks of a Sega of Europe joint (decent PC port, decent pricing, proper use of Steam features).
Sadly ATLUS JP doesn't give a shit about your gaijin PC-using ass.

I hope Atlus is at least watching the money roll in for this. I know they haven't had the best of luck with multiplatform releases in the past (for example: what was the point of even releasing Catherine on Xbox 360?), but the landscape is different nowadays. They really need to get more games ported, and start moving towards multiplatform releases.

That's a really hard one to call, as the gameplay loop is the same. I prefer the story and world of P4G, but the dungeons were better in 5. So it depends on what you didn't like in 5?

I have very little experience with traditional JRPGs and couldn’t get used to the gameplay of P5 and was finding it difficult.

So I dropped it to easy mode but then was finding it very dull to play as in the dungeons it was basically playing itself, and the story wasn’t developing much while these dungeon sections were the focus.
So I dropped it mid 2nd dungeon.

I want to say get 4 to support it on steam, but honestly the hype is probably the thing that is actually making you want to play, so i would say play 5 instead and read some starting tips and up the difficulty again.

I traded it in so can’t do that, but you’re right though, it’s hype isn’t it 😅
