Not as easy as just grabbing the rom, but I guess those bundles can be extracted somehow:Can the Samurai Shodown V Perfect (never before released version of the game that was going to be the last neo geo game but was never released in the end) rom be extracted from the collection and played in an emulator? I don't wanna download ~10GB (wtf kind of extras does it include, haha) to find out that it can't.
I guess they weren't so confident after all. It's $9 with the coupon now on EGS for my region. Meh.Kuroki elaborated on the reasoning behind his refusal, saying that the retailer wanted to sell Samurai Shodown on its PC platform with the condition of a pre-order of hundreds of thousands of copies in exchange for exclusivity, but declined as he believed that the game would be a title to sell more than a million copies. Kuroki also explained that he met with his reports and said, “I know that there is a big expectation from the outside as well as the company,” but he was “confident in the perfection of the game.”

Update from Epic Games
June 3, 2020
By Epic Games
Hey Fortnite community,
Recent events are a heavy reminder of ongoing injustices in society, from the denial of basic human rights to the impact of racism both overt and subtle against people of color. We're acutely aware of the pain our friends, families, team members, players, and communities are experiencing.
We believe in equality and justice, diversity and inclusion, and that these fundamentals are above politics.
The team is eager to move Fortnite forward, but we need to balance the Season 3 launch with time for the team to focus on themselves, their families, and their communities.
The live event The Device will be delayed to Monday, June 15, and the Season 3 launch delayed to Wednesday, June 17. We know this delay comes on the heels of another one, and we appreciate your patience and understanding during these difficult times.

"We don't make political statements, but we're going to make one and pretend it isn't a political statement."Old, but interesting nonetheless, given that Tim Sweeney advocated for platforms to stay out of politics.
Especially that part:
In terms of actually saying anything, that statement is pretty empty - buzzwords and this: The team is eager to move Fortnite forward, but we need to balance the Season 3 launch with time for the team to focus on themselves, their families, and their communities."We're don't make political statements, but we're going to make one and pretend it isn't a political statement."

"...we will send you a key for the game on the Epic Games Store. "
it isNow Im just hoping The Last Campire isn't timed exclusive.
Still says 2020 on Steam. No update from Hello Games other than the trailer yesterday.it is
I'm sorry to be the one to say that this sounds pretty familiar for them.No update from Hello Games other than the trailer yesterday.
so what? if it was coming to both they'd say so in the trailerStill says 2020 on Steam. No update from Hello Games other than the trailer yesterday.
Maybe, but I still hope.so what? if it was coming to both they'd say so in the trailer
Eh, I'd say it's pretty misleading, not to mention taking advantage of Steam for advertising only for the product to be available on another platform through bullshit exclusivity deals. It has no right to remain on Steam if they aren't going to be sold there in my opinion.so what? if it was coming to both they'd say so in the trailer
gee, i wonder whyIt's weird how quiet Hello Games is on The Last Campfire.
Yeah, just say you wanted or needed money and it's why the game will be released on Steam next year and be done with it.I don't understand.
They are kind of no stranger to bait and switches, and staying silent after the shoe drops. In this case, because they do not want to acknowledge they even did something bad.I don't understand.
How is supporting equality no matter what your skin color is a political issue? Regardless of what you think about sweeney and EGS, I don't see how this is political statement.Old, but interesting nonetheless, given that Tim Sweeney advocated for platforms to stay out of politics.
Especially that part:
This is a trick to get us to give epic our money; HOLD PEOPLE HOLD. We will stand strong until sweeney and his money grubbing hands are long dead and steam stands strong. Only buy on steam!Don´t forget that Klei are giving Griftlands on Steam for anyone that had purchase the game on EGS, the potential for people to start demanding Steam keys from every developer on EGS is now wide open.
Kena got some attention and maybe Godfall.EGS is having a rough week. They lost their biggest exclusive Satisfactory and are losing other exclusives en masse like Griftlands, Quantic Dream trilogy, The Outer Wilds, and Journey.
Then a bunch of the games shown at the PS5 gaming event are EGS, but also happen to be the least interesting games in the show so nobody cares and they get ignored.
Then the PC gaming show happens and is obviously Epic's big news push with how many epic exclusives are at the show. But only a handful actually look interesting and they all get completely overshadowed by an 8-year-old Vita port which completely takes over all media attention (Chie, Persona 4, Atlus and Steam were trending on twitter all day yesterday lmao) and releases exclusively on Steam.
Poor tim sweeney
Godfall looks like what you’d see if you googled generic unreal engine tech demo. People will buy it on PS5 because its a launch title that isn’t available on last gen and people will drop it and move on in a month or two. Maybe it’ll gain more traction in 2021 when it comes to Steam.Kena got some attention and maybe Godfall.
I watched the PC gaming showcase with easy allies and they thought it looks generic and just okay. They laughed when the devs said this was a new genre.Godfall looks like what you’d see if you googled generic unreal engine tech demo. Feels like the only thing that gets them any attention these days is big game giveaways like GTAV but it only lasts a few days.I think that at this point EGS has lost a lot of momentum and none of the revealed games have enough pull to bring the store back into the spotlight.
Hope so. I missed all the PC gamer show stuff and so am just catching up now and so far there aren't really any games i'm bothered about missing out on due to eggs.I think that at this point EGS has lost a lot of momentum and none of the revealed games have enough pull to bring the store back into the spotlight.
AssHalla isn't egsclusive ... it's just "exclusively not on steam"A bunch of exclusive games coming to EGS in 2020 according to Reddit:
Hmm. IDK. EGS tends to give away $10 vouchers for free. A number of people I know who took advantage of free GTAV also got $10 free. This is a trick to get us to give epic our money; HOLD PEOPLE HOLD. We will stand strong until sweeney and his money grubbing hands are long dead and steam stands strong. Only buy on steam!
Yes for sure, but all they are going to do with the money u give them is pour it into more exclusivity bullshit. They clearly are still actively pursuing developers to get for exclusivity.Hmm. IDK. EGS tends to give away $10 vouchers for free. A number of people I know who took advantage of free GTAV also got $10 free.
My biggest thing is keeping my collection "in front" of me. I lose track of what games I can play on which service (Steam, Origin, Xbox Game Pass).
Being able to generate a Steam key through EGS, I think is a great feature if is implemented going forward. After all, our biggest issue is exclusives, right?
Given how critical this place was pre-PCGamingShow. 23 games is not as big a number, nor featuring as many new titles as I'd have expected. I still won't buy anything from the store but I'm less worried. None of those are really, as we in the games enthusiasm community call 'megatons'. Yeah, Valhalla will sell and EGS and Ubi will pat themselves on the back, but it's already a known quantity. I can't pick one of those titles and say 'That is for sure going to bust out huge on PC on EGS.'A bunch of exclusive games coming to EGS in 2020 according to Reddit:
