Inclusive means they are already in the price and you (as a consumer) don't notice. Valve (and consequently the publisher) just get a smaller part of the price.
This might eventually lead publishers to increase the regional price for the region to compensate when taxes are collected for that region; but in practice, I extremely rarely see that much thought being put into regional prices, so I doubt it matters much.
Taxes got implemented on us in 2017 (regional pricing adjusted accordingly), it shows up at the end of checkout.Inclusive means they are already in the price and you (as a consumer) don't notice. Valve (and consequently the publisher) just get a smaller part of the price.
From my observation on Indian Rupee, I've seen certain patterns emerge of AAA/big name publisher that put a (much) higher price, to have same price tags. I've seen Rs. 1999 used for $59.99 as well as $19.99 games (yeah, I know). I have a theory that Valve/Steam provides more nuanced pricing tiers and publishers choose from them. This might eventually lead publishers to increase the regional price for the region to compensate when taxes are collected for that region; but in practice, I extremely rarely see that much thought being put into regional prices, so I doubt it matters much.
Star Citizen...
I've started using Win 10 Pro features to defer updates for a certain time (I've picked a 30 days delay for regular updates and 6 months delay for the bi-annual updates), that's how much I trust their ability to deliver updates with no issues at launch.Ugh why does windows suck so much ass, trying to install the new update, it goes as well as it has every other time.
Elite's FM is very well-realized but I find it to have fundamental flaws that make it disagree with me. Inconsistent capabilities is the biggest one, where ships can do certain things in certain conditions but have artificial, gamey limitations in others.Im still really looking forward to SC, mainly the single player bit. I haven't backed it but I did jump into Elite Dangerous which I think has a great flight model. Playing that in VR with a HOTAS is amazing.
Yeees it's also a long discount, will get it next time I get some money.Outer Wilds out now, 33% discount.

Their VR implementation though, that one I'd die to try out.
I didn't know the initial implementation wasn't very readable, thanks! From the way the UI was designed, I was under the impression VR was intended so this is a bit of a surprise.I think that the VR was sort of tacked on after the game was finished. I remember all of the UI being very blurry (changed the colour to help) and in general the rez wasnt great but the sense of immersion was amazing. Made it hard to go back to play in pancake mode to be honest.
So many Epic exclusives releasing now on Steam and also reaching top 10 global best sellers. Satisfactory, Outer Wilds, QD games, Griftlands.
More reason for publishers to get those Epic money. So many Epic exclusives releasing now on Steam and also reaching top 10 global best sellers. Satisfactory, Outer Wilds, QD games, Griftlands.
I don't particularly think this is a good thing but there's no real "best" scenario when it comes to games that come out of self-imposed captivity.
More reason for publishers to get those Epic money.
Heard you wanted a Mass Effect and a Dead Space remasters. Have this instead:
Watch it somehow not be a remaster either. Heads will roll.
And if they sold bad on Steam?
"See, our game is selling bad on Steam so our decision to go Epic exclusive for some time was a good decision".
UndergroundI think audio clips on Twitter uses the account's Twitter profile, so I don't think that tweet has anything to do with NFS Heat, if that's what you're implying.

I'm super hyped for a ME remaster but would take an Underground remaster any day of the week in its place. Also couldn't help but put get low on infinite loop, gotta hear it for the next hours nowHeard you wanted a Mass Effect and a Dead Space remasters. Have this instead:

I added it to my wishlist. I am still not 100% sold on it and I have a hard rule of not buying anything that was an EGS exclusive unless it is at a deep discount but it sounds like a game I would enjoy. It's the time limit that holds me back. Oh well, I'll have time to think it over until it reaches 75% off.
