That's quite a price difference between euro and usd. Even cheaper on gamesplanet

I wonder when Trine 4 will appear in a Humble Choice bundle. It has been discounted quite often. Plus, it is part of Origin Premier subscription.

If I manage to snatch the game on Steam, I will be able to play it on Geforce Now.

Dang it. So my copy of DQB1 on N/S crashed and I lost maybe about an hour or so worth of progress.....

I will hopefully save more often now.

Also I'm guessing it's going to maybe be more like this since there don't seem to be any patches for the game (the game released in 2018 from what I recall) and when I tried to check if there was a newer version it seems to say that version 1.0.0 is the lastest version of the game.

That Nobeta game actually sounds awesome from Steam reviews:

In short it's Dark Souls but in order to attack you need mana which can pretty much only be recovered with tight dodging or hitting enemies with a weak melee attack. It leads to a pretty great ebb and flow in combat and provides a great sense of risk vs. reward. There's more techniques you obtain along the way (which weren't in the demo) that give you further options. The most notable of which that I've found thus far is an option you have to counter enemy attacks by timing one of your normally weak melee attacks right as their attack lands to parry it. As your mobility increases the bosses are given mechanics which make use of them to an extent, and various little puzzles/hidden areas require mastery of the game's movement techniques.

Little Witch Nobeta is a """souls-like""" with an emphasis on magic based combat and while you might not be sold on the whole "cute anime girl goes dungeon diving" thing you should 100% check it out because what's here already is rock solid.

The controls are responsive and tight, the character models are well done and in general the game has a cohesive and charming visual style going for it. The difficulty curve is just right, it's made pretty clear to you from the first boss on that you're gonna fall on your ♥♥♥ a lot, and it will almost always be your fault. As of writing this I've not yet faced a challenge that felt unfair or underhanded.

For this sale, I'll set a max limit of $10 for what I want to get off steam.
I may be more generous towards JP and PnC games though, and go for up to $20 for those.
I think the most priciest things I'd be getting this sale are the Namco classic collections, but even those I might hold off for a future sale as well XO

Those mechanics for Nobeta do sound neat. I don't think I can get over the presentation though.
I don't mind anime aesthetic per se, but that is a bit much.

I made a thread in Era for Nobeta yesterday, and the impressions from people who played it are very positive too.

Looking forward to the full version it. it's already solid at the current state.

More movement for Shakedown Hawaii, of course the Steam release will be this year so, the update that dev was talking about must be near completion. 👀

I have to give the Eagle Island devs props for the options included in the game. There are a bunch of accessibility options, as well as stuff like this

I wish more games gave you the choice. It's nice.

Brings me back to the 90s! I remember there are Lodoss games in Nintendo systems ( I had both SNES and Gameboy) huhu nostalgia.

Yeah me too. Especially the big budget games that appear on all the consoles. It really annoys me when i cant get DS4 button prompts when using a DS4. Seems like such an quick thing to implement.
Reminds me of when playing Mercenaries 2 on PC, where all button prompts are weird indecipherable icons for "melée"/"hijack" etc. Makes all the quick-time events really hard to beat.

So, today the Steam seals arrive. :steam_cleanseal:

I shall stand strong:minos_knight:, unless deep rock galactic is on sale. :minos_golden:

May all of your wallets stand and fight like warrior poets. :minos_kamaking:

Question, if someone has refunded a game, can they then later purchase that game?

I have $25 ready for the seals but I feel like it won't be enough this time.

I'll have to see the my whistlist tomorrow first though before topping up another Steam money gift card.

It may take time to update
But i use it to get the games i want and it has helped me in budgeting my purchases.

That site is not for me. Most of the time, Steam prices are still much better even at lower % compared to other sites that use US$.

You can't overspend if you don't have the money to overspend

I only have one game on the list (currently) and it is Yakuza 0. Let's see if this will change.

I finished Strange Brigade last night. It was... forgettable. Does some things better than the zombie army games, and the puzzles can be nice, but they are often pretty repetitive, and if I hadn't been playing the game in co-op, I'd have dropped it long before I beat it.

That reminds me I still have a Yakuza Kiwami key. Anyone that (ideally) already has played 0 and was planning to get Kiwami in the seal?
Might as well grab the key and get something else instead :p

I'm up in some 60+ hours on Yakuza 0. And I am curious on the continuation of the story. Although I plan to unlock more achievements before that.
Finished with the main story, but need to grind more to become true Yakuza heheh 😎

PM sent. Kiwami is not as good as 0 (understandably), but it's still a good time.

Read in some steam review it was something like that. wishful thought it is just about the gameplay, but the story is still solid tight ;)

So
who will get Monster Train
And join me in the addiction?!?!?!?!?!?!??!?!?!?!?!?!?!??!?!?!?!?!??!?!?!?!?!?!?!??!?!?!

Fair enough mate
Hope you get some good prices :3

It's gonna be me.

I love Slay the Spire and already have it ony wishlist. Just waiting for the slightest hint of sale.

Finished Life is Strange 2

Sad story :(

I got the ending where both Sean and Daniel got over to Mexico and live a quite happy life. I guess it's the good ending?

yup, that's the best ending you can get imho ... congrats! :)

I liked Ar No Surge. Wouldn't mind owning it on steam.
It's the kind of game that normally would be too anime for me but it has a special charm and the battle system is interesting.
Huh this came from nowhere. Any rumour that Gust's game will come to PC?

We expect various new features to be included in this sale: rewarding reviews and community content, animated avatars, avatar frames, and new profile themes.

I know the sale is in less than 3 hours but, my curiosity does not know the word patience.
Taken from the announcement above, I underlined "rewarding reviews" because that was the only thing I did not know it was coming, assuming it does as they said (steamdb guys have a solid reputation) .
It sounds like a positive thing to me and should incentive future reviews if the rewards are good of course.

Also, somebody discovered that default steam chat emoticons are in the process to be updated. :Steamsad:

is at least new. The rest can be seen by hovering over them

Reason: Added chat emoticons

No dates or platforms announced yet, but, with how many of Gust's games come to PC nowadays, it's very likely that these 2 will come.
Holy shit. Hopefully they come to PC too!

Ar Tonelico and Manakhemia next please.
